If so what was it and how did it affect your training?
I personally haven't injured myself too badly when training, though i have an injury to my knee from football that, 2 years later, still affects me from time to time.

Tore chest twice, torn meniscus and slammed my dick between 2 DB's while doing heavy side laterals when I was 18.

Just recently injured my front delt... think it's partially torn or possibly strained... sucks...
other than that a bad elbow and a bad wrist.

I've also had both tennis and golfers elbow, mostly on my left elbow. That too seems to come and go...

It's funny, i had tennis elbow that would come and go, then all of a sudden it went away then returned in the form of golfers elbow.
Been ok lately though (touch wood)..... :-\

subluxation in my left shoulders doing a "snatch" while weightlifting in high school.
still can't do many movements to this day and the injury was 5 years ago

I did that too actually.
Last rep on heavy (for me) deads, turned my head slightly to the left. Ouch, that bitch killed me for days.

I hear ya. I tore my rotator cuff 12 years ago, had surgery, and (again) 12 years later, it is still fucked up. :-\ :'(

When I was a little guy in my basement gym I went to failure on the bench and had to roll it down my body and dump it. I hurt my nuts really bad. Also, I had a flexible, non olympic bar and I was doing shoulder presses and I racked it and it bounced and the inside of my shoulders/outside of chest came crashing down and I slammed into the thing that holds them. I bruised like Rihanna after an argument with Chris Brown, the bruising indescribable. So I went to the doctors and I had low platelets. I guess if I had gotten hit in the head I could die or something. So I had to stay home from school for 6 weeks and take some medicine. I was 13.

Welcome to old age Squad. I know the feeling, have you tried to run after a few weeks off? I thought my legs were going to need amputation.

It got to 60 this week, so instead of hitting the stairmaster I figured I would run a few miles. Not only was I filthy cuz of the mud everywhere, but my knees are still fucked. Getting old sucks.

pinched a nerve in my back while shoulder pressing behind the back, took 3 months to heal >:(
missed a clean and the bar went over my hand, felt it for the next half a year >:(
not really an injury, but hit my nose with the bar on the jerk, was lucky did not break it ;D

i know man, all the snow is melting and my dumb ass decided to go for a hike at a park about a mile from my house where i always go a few days ago and my shoes are still muddy................and yes getting old sucks. :-\

a few years ago i asked a dude to spot me on seated dumbell shoulder press...as i pressed up he pushed my arm in causing me to drop 1 dumbell and i held onto the other and tried to keep it from falling and it messed up my wrists
2 years ago i dropped a dumbell on my fot...my big toeNAIL eventually fell off
then i was doing lunges over the summer and i stepped down the wrong way w/ my foot pointing outwards and i blew my knee out...it took the whole summer for it to heal...worst pain ever

triked my chest doing dips minor pain when training for 2-3 months. humm.. stress my back a few times doing hyper tensions, hurt my back squatting once. i don't squat anymore because my form sucks, and i don't want to get hurt.
couple wrists and ankles sprains, minor cuts and abrasions on hands because i don't wear gloves. 2 fingers smashed by plates. No real damage.
Really i get more banged up playing basketball pickup games, then lifting.

and torn a ham in sprint training, "go go go" said my trainer, then i hear a "pop" then a lot of pain.

Slipped a disc in my neck doing shrugs.it would flair up every once and awhile and I would stop lifting for a week or 2.then it eventually got so bad that surgery was recommended.I didn't wanna go that route so I went with therapy,electric stimulus,stretching exercise...slept with a neck brace for months.Docs wouldn't let me lift heavy for close to a year and a half.

ditto. went to doc 3 days later. she told me wait and see. returned to gym yesterday after 7 days away. was pleasantly surprised. trained with 50% of weight, but it was okay

yes i have no real problem with the function of it. can do presses no problem but it just dont look as good in them mirror :-\

Fucked my neck up doing skullcrushers the first month of training as I jerked my head around to get a better position on the bench. Still aches like hell in cold weather.

currently have a pec/chest injury...slowly getting better aint bench pressed properly in 6 weeks
