I would say ass kissing ranks right up there.

After working for myself for a while, and after working for a few larger companies for years, i would say people higher up in these companies don't do anywhere near what you do by yourself. They get there via contacts and who's dick their sucking.

In business, LOOKS ARE ALMOST IRRELEVANT.

Look at the top CEOs. How many of them don't make you want to vomit by looking at them? Ugly mother fuckers, all of them!

Success in business requires the following:

1. Nepotism.
2. Ass kissing.
3. Back stabbing.
4. Greed
5. Pure evilness
6. Hard work.

Most executives aren't lookers, but they are very confident, dominant and stubborn while at the same time processing good interpersonal skills. In other words most successful people in business are very alpha.

These skills are things one can learn by repetition and practice, and not by attending fucking Donald Trump seminars.  ;D

I disagree with this!

Me too, except for the last one.

Most important is to not listen to other people.
Second is luck.
Third is hard work.

Looks are irrelevant unless your business is to be a model.

Looks help in sales.  But then again, the CEOs of most companies are some stale ass old bald men in their 60s worth 100 times more than the middle mgmt studs in their 40s.
