... Have said you play other sports (Football,Rugby,Wrestling etc) to cover up the fact that you are a bodybuilder or just lift weights.
Come on, i know you have. :D
I used to tell people i still played rugby. lol
-
Most Getbiggers have to say they are sumo wrestlers when asked about their physique :D
-
I haven't :D
-
Nah, i just say the truth
I box and weight lift
I dont say i bodybuild though, sounds fishy. I dont want my name in any way associated with oily men in thongs

Do you introduce yourself as a ''Friend of Kai'' also? :D
-

I never go out without a thong and baby oil. That way, if someone asks me, I can just slip into the thong and oil up in under 3 minutes so I'm ready to start crunching most musculars in their faces till one of us goes blue.
That's how I roll!

You missed my point, not disputing the fact its obvious you lift, but if you say to people who ask you about your physique that you lift to supplement other sports

Same here, then they ask to count the striations in glutes.

Nah. Chics dont like the striated glutes. And they dont know the level of bbing now.
They like smooth bbers.

It's quite obvious I lift weights, but I'm usually covered up. I just always say I train for rugby if I'm spotted ;D
-
I just tell them that I came out of the womb like this.
-
I can't cover it up. People see me and they know I bodybuild. Women are always want to touch and feel my arms, men stare jealously and frightedly at my chest.
-

No im not ashamed of it,but I guess some guys say they are rugby players or boxers etc
-
just say you fitness. bodybuilding has an aura of negativity around it.
-
Haha "I do strength training to support my ice skating"
-
Dunno what usa is like but here in Ireland the Irish normal person will slightly frown upon it yet be curious but it seems the only word they know is 'steroids' but we have a lot of eastern europeans here now(polish, russian etc) and they love it

people usually just ask "do you workout?"

people usually just ask "do you workout?"
If you were a real monster, they wouldn't have to ask... ;D
-
i just say that i workout... i was always a sedentary (sp?) my whole life, never really played any sports... So for me going to the gym for the last 4 years its my 'sport'
-
i don't think regular people look down on NATURAL bodybuilding as much as some of you think
i've known plenty of guys that just trained but looked like bodybuilders, several people that aren't fans of bodybuilding told them they should do a show

fact is natural weight lifting / fitness is getting more and more widespread. nowadays every guy or girl has been to a gym at least once in his lifetime or know/have seen someone getting in shape after months of dedication, and know what can be achieved there if they put their mind on it for long enough (even if they re too lazy to do it themselves right now).
Every summer i see more and more fit/toned muscular girls and guys. But i have to be honest, most of em are ecto or mesomorhpes who developed an addiction for lifting weights.
Most endomorphes never get it though and seem unfit ...to get fit. But the whole fitness thing is settling deep in the meso/ecto part of the world population that's for sure.
-
It's always kind of odd but I take it as a compliment.
-
I tell them the truth: I am the retired tomato can champion of the world!
-
I always tell the truth, but I make it a point to tell them just how much larger I was in my prime and what my lifts were like then.
-
When asked at the gym about what look I aspire to have, I usually say that I'm working towards the "Men's Health" look and direct them to a picture of that Hot, Mexican-papi Mario Lopez..

when ppl stop and ask me i tell them i am a competitve bber..
i am very proud of it. just cause it gets a few bad eggs it doesn't mean they can ruin it for everyone else
