Title: post-rehab workout
Post by: 240 is Back on February 17, 2009, 09:49:05 PM
I hurt my shoulder about 12 days back.

went to doc, she gave me week of no weights.  It worked.  After a week, I did one very light workout, I was very weak, then was very sore and didn't touch it for 5 days.

Tonight I did an hour of light shoulder work.  Felt good, but throbbing a little bit as the junk leaves.  Do I ice it now?

I never ice bodyparts after workout - I don't know if swelling is part of the growth process or not.  But in this case, rehabbing a weak shoulder - Do I ice it postworkout?  thanks!

what surgery did you have?  I may have an MRI in a week or two if this doesn't improve.  I'm optimistic.
