too each his own

I'm no one to comment on what music fits which personality
if the 300 soundtrack fits your routine/personaility, then go for it

may i suggest "Training Montage" from "rocky IV".  I think the artist is Vince Dicola

yeah...it doesn't have to be from 300...i just used that as an example because it's normally found in those type of movies...
big war epics and stuff....300, gladiator, any world war 2 movie...movies that take place in ancient times...you name it.
its usually got good pace for routines, and are always instrumentals...

Rocky 4 training montage song kicks ass! yes i know! thx!

What about something by HAns Zimmer - he's the guy who composed the Gladiator soundtrack and he's also done The Dark Knight, Da Vinci Code, and probably the best one of the lot - The Rock. The opening credits is a good choice of tune to pose to along the lines you're lookig for. I'm considering it for when I compete later this year.

Hans Zimmer, good suggestion. Also check out Tyler Bates, he composed the 300 soundtrack and some other ones. Danny Elfman is a good composer as well.

To be honest, I was half serious when I posted that.

It would probably work pretty good but be careful of the bad juju.

try this site, once you get past the gay intro page.

http://techno.org/electronic-music-guide/

p.s. it's not about gay techno music only, it just describes the origins of it along with examples.  great site to waste a few hours on.

I posed to Sweet Dreams by Marylin Manson for my show in 2004.  The crowd reaction was great.

No, this was in Vermont.

I actually got the idea for that song from someone on the boards, thought I would return the favor.
