"Holder: US a nation of cowards on racial matters
Eric Holder, the nation's first black attorney general, said Wednesday the United States was "a nation of cowards" on matters of race, with most Americans avoiding candid discussions of racial issues. In a speech to Justice Department employees marking Black History Month, Holder said the workplace is largely integrated but Americans still self-segregate on the weekends and in their private lives.
"Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and I believe continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards," Holder said.
Race issues continue to be a topic of political discussion, but "we, as average Americans, simply do not talk enough with each other about race."

Maybe Obama will issue an executive order demanding that every household have a person of every color and a disabled person.

Of all th epertinent issue that could have been raised by this guy he could only stop and deal some race card type conversation
What about the Guantanamo Bay hostages america has been holding for years with no one having been charged for having done anything?
How about the military fraud and hundreds of BILLIONS of missing money?
Soldiers and their plight of returning back to america and being totally neglected?
Immigration issues in america?
Corporate corruption?
Mortgage Meltdown?
Financial fraud and the theft of TRILLIONS form the likes of Lehman, Morgan Stanely, Goldman sachs, etc etc
Nothing like another DUMMY in Washington...

It won't stop until white racism stops, but the issue is there are more severe issues raging that should have been addressed rather than making a idiotic comment of americans are cowards when it comes to race conversations.
