but has anyone ever trained biceps before back???
to better isolate the back or is that just bull shit???

That about sums it up ... don't make things so complicated. Lift heavy, eat alot, and sleep well ... that's it. It's worked for me, anyways.

I depends what u want to achieve. are you biceps weak and need bringing up?
are you very strong and hoping to bring down the overall weight by pre-exhausting?
a lot of guys, like Jason for example, often pre-exhuast the delts by doing side laterals before presses.
It does not necessarily isolate the back, if the biceps are tired it might actually mean u don't stimulate the lats as much as you would have if they fresh.
try doing some pulldowns but don't sit on the seat; sit on the floor!!

then i certainly dont see no harm in u trying this. it can work real good for some people, especially if they have a weaker bodypart that assists in the compound exercise . it gets a lot of stimulation as you isolate it first and then the bigger bodyparts help it out later on.

if you get completely worn out after back then go ahead..
i do calfs and hams before i do quads.. squats and presses take the life out of me so once i hit quads the rest of my workout would be shit..

im one of the guys here with the better back so it might be wise to listen what i have to say about back training.
i usually do back alone on one day so when im done i dont feel like i can do another bodypart yet. lots of heavy barbell rows, chins as much sets as you can do, even one rep a set is good. i finish with lat pulldowns with relative light weight and high reps to push the last drop of blood into the muscle.

run for a mile in full armor, do battle with your life on the line with an axe and a sword for another hour, then run another mile back and do sets of pullups till you reach 100, then the workout is satisfactory.

Train Glutes and biceps only at the same time,thats what steve blechman recomends

Some times I will do a 3 sets of precher curls before back. Then go back to biceps. Helps to isolated biceps IMO

Agreed. I can't get my biceps sore lifting just biceps, but when I go heavy on back my bi's are rocked the next few days.

I did back and traps on Wed.the bi's and shoulders on Thur.
never did that before and had a killer workout.

i only tried this the other week,,,,,,,,,,just out of couriosity when the back room was full,,, done me arms then when it emptied did a few sets for back,,, got a hell of a pump, but i feel my back quite good anyway...

Had a young guy in our gym tell me yesterday that I shouldnt train biceps,that back training is all I need for biceps,hes been lifting weights since january,but hey,maybe he knows more than me ???
