I know, we've been seeing the opinions predicting collapse posted here. My question is how people who like glenn yet mock the "fearmongering" here feel about Glenn saying this stuff?

They still are in the honeymoon with Obama and cant stand to actually consider the possibility of this happening while he is president.
I definately predict tax revolts coming. People are really upset at what obama is doing with all these new giveways.
People voted for change against what GWB was doing, not something 4 times worse and more of the same.

I've been accused of fearmongering for a long time. I am curious how people who like Glenn feel about Glenn saying these things. specifically the ones who accuse people of being fearmongers/chicken little here.

that's true, he did a flip on Ron for selfish reasons. But ironically many people here have posted over the last few years that they like Glenn Beck. And Ron Paul was by far the winner of the getbig primary.

You could see the others on the panel trying to steer him away from the fear response, but he stood fast. I used to listen to him a couple yrs ago, and even then he was saying that Bush was destoying america with his War and immigration policies. So he always seemed more likely to say it as it is. He has most of my respect for that. Hes a moderate right.......

I stopped listening when all he did was liberal bash, seemed to like Bush and had bad ratings. He must have switched gears at some point.
Yeah, there was a time he was bashing libs, but he also started taliking more about the failing policies of the Bush admin. I think he was in transition of deciding to hold party lines or speak the truth. Likely for this reason his ratings sucked as he wasnt holding a hard left or a hard right. IMO....

Look, I thought the GOP had its best years in 1994 - 1998 with Newt.
Something went seriously wrong after that.
They talked balanced budgets, reforms. term limits, etc.
