Title: Crist is probably going to be the 2012 nominee

No thanks.   Jindal/Romney/Palin.

Steve Forbes is too old, but I really liked him when he ran.  Steve Forbes would have been a great president.

How can you say Palin > Crist?

Crist is competent.  palin is a puppet.

That is all.

The base will never go for it.

Jindal is going to be the guy unless there are some serious issues like him not giving his BC, having marxist buddies, or being in hate church for 20 years.

maybe.  he's smart.  immature tho.  ya gotta admit he acted like an ass joking about a train to disneyworld, disparaging an economic cononection from las vegas to LA which will actually be a good ROI for the $ invested, and put some LEGAL californians to work.

Immature for pointing out the absurdities of this garbage bill????

No.  You are scared because you know Jindal will WIPE THE FLOOR with Obama in a head to head match up.

Crist will whip Jindal in any primary.  Crist is the man who made Jeb out to be a incompetent failure by accomplishing more in his first 4 months in office than Jeb did in 8 years.

Wow!  He's a bone deep globalist of the nth degree.  Of course I remember you praising Donald Trump as some sort of economic genius as well.  LOL.

Jindal will appeal to the base far more than Crist.
I think Crist is too liberal.
To not seriously question this stimulus/spending bill is unpatriotic IMO.

Calling the 8 billion dollar train from NV to southern California a ride to disneyland does not offend me at all.  That shouldn't be in a nationwide stimulus plan.  It does nothing for the majority of us.  More special interest bullshit.  I agree again with Jindal.

Please, please, please, use your pin head for once.McCAIN won because Romney has the whole mormon issue.Rudy was a lib.Hukabe is a lib on everything but abortion and the fair tax.The only consevative there was Ron Paul and the base hates his foreign policy.Crist WILL NOT get the nomination.By the time the next election comes around for president, the base will be so fired up to get that freaking minority loving commie scum bag out of there they will nominate a true conservative it wont be funny.

It started right at the inaugeration, when that filthy black preacher Lowery insulted whites. It escaladed when that little jew,Reich insulted whites,it continues as Obama will give money to scum who wont pay their mortgages. In four years people will be tripping over themselves to vote conservative. They will not want a fool to reach across the aisle, they will want a true right winger to get their freaking money back from the scum.

So you think moderate republicans are going to put in a heavy religion guy huh?

That's your opinion.

My belief is proven by what we saw in 2008.  Rudy, Mitt, Mccain were all LIB leaning.  It's what the people wanted.  They were gungrabbers, illegal rescuing, abotion supporting, at one point in there careers and what happened?  REPUBS VOTED FOR THEM!

There were PLENTY of far-right guys in the beginning when there were 9 or 10 of them.  Repub primary voters didn't want a thompson or a tancredo.  They wanted a lib celebrity, a moderate.  That's Crist.

Face it, america's moral fabric sucks.  Palin's kid went on fox news and said abstinence was UNREALISTIC.  When the daughter of the far-right leader of your party says that, you know the value system is outdated.

Crist represents somber self-responsibility and 'work your way outta this shit' attitude.  THAT is what the USA will want in 2012.  They're not going to want sex controls and morality legislated, when they can't feed their kids.  $ comes first, and Crist is positioning himself well for that.  Religion matters when other lower levels are met (think maslow).  most repub primary voters will care far more about their decimated 401ks that whether or not Jindal will let their kid have condoms or not.

Do you really think Huckabee was liberal?  I say not.  He wasn't the most conservative but I wouldn't say he was liberal.  Huck would be a good president IMO.  Great demeanor.

i liked huck.  i didn't list him above.  mitt, rudy, mccain.   3 of the top 4.

Hell, we'll never know how RP would have done... obviously fox's smear job worked with their voter base.  Coudl the 'neutral' commentators have dissed him on a daily basis any more than they did?

I wouldnt want a religious guy or I would have liked Hukabee. They will want an extreme right winger on economics,a tax cutter,an anti-spending nut.McCAIN voted AGAINST the Bush tax cuts.He won the primary because of open elections.Republicans need to close the primaries to registered republicans. That will instantly shut out libs.

Crist was against drilling for years.REPUBLICANS WILL WANT A TAX CUTTING,SPENDING HAWK,that is anti-government controll. The reason McCain didnt win,was because the base DESPISED and still DESPISES HIM!!!PRO AMNESTY,ANTI TAX CUT,PRO GLOBAL WARMING,ANTI-TORTURE.No wonder Obama won, they were the same except Obama looked better.

That we can agree on.Disgraces like Sean Hannity treated him like he was nuts. Why?Because the neo-cons[which Hannity is]LOVE Isreal above all else.No other position matters. If you arent pro-Isreal to the point where it dictates our entire policy, the Hannitys and Becks hate you. They love Isreal over all.

No, that was Billy.

Yes, the republicans need a strong economic conservative who will be anti-gov control.  This will be a clear difference to Obama.  McCain and Obama overlapped in several areas.

what % do you believe DEMS crossed over and voted to interfere with Republican elections?

lol... sorry, that's the first time i've heard of this.  Even Rush's effect was minimal, and his efforts were organized.

Without democrat voters sabotaging Rudy and Mitt to the tune of 10 million votes, huh?  ;)

I was shocked to see McCain win the primary.  His was way behind and then all of the sudden gained steam.  I thought Guliani would win initially then I figured it would be Romney.  Obviously wrong twice.

I dont think it was democrats,I think it was independants that did it.The typical moderate republican leaning independant voter. They think moderation is agood thing and everytime the republicans run on moderation they get smoked.Everytime theu run as REAL conservatives they win.Republicans never learn,EXCEPT, WHEN YOU TAKE THEIR MONEY AND REDISTRIBUTE IT TO THOSE WHO DONT WORK.Only then do they wake up.

why would the independents do it in 08 and not in 2012?

"real" conservatives woudl have opposed the war in iraq dude.  Ron paul is, and did.

Responsible.  Bipartisan.  intelligent.  Is now married.  Coming from a very suddenly poor state.  on the RIGHT side of this economic bill.

Plus Jindal, i dunno, he kinda gives me the creeps.  very smart, but today when he said "a train to disneyland" to mock the rail from LA to Vegas to spurn spending... well, his facts aren't correct and he was trying to be cute.

You can't be "cute" in serious, tough times like this.  Jindal is the R version of John Edwards.  Too young and trying too hard to be cute all the time.  Crist is acting presidential, somber and serious in the face of these problems.

Plus Jindal "only" agreed to accept 3.7 billion of the 3.8 billion that Obama offered him.  I hardly see that as saying "no thanks" to the money.

I thought you were critical of him as a potential VP nominee?  Didn't you also say he was gay?
