Great show,
Dr Scott Connelly highlights a brand new study that compleley dispels the Adonic Principles and the Laws of thermodynamics in relation to human metabolism
Also a great Ronnie interview + interview with The arnold classic promoter, Jim Lorimer

Listen to the show,
Skip the first section where palumbo and romano are just bullshitting.
one of the best Ronnie interviews i have heared.
The calorie is a calorie myth is very well adressed, i am not clever enough to go into detail, but it is a must listen

So Palmano got Ronnie? Was it their first show? Pretty big name. Looks like Blechman created some competition for himself.

Connelly calls people who question such studies "bullshitters". Well there are many other respected scientists who question the conclusions people like Connelly draw from these studies.
The only thing the study suggests is that more high quality protein in the diet (up to a certain point, unknown through this study) may improve body composition. If his claim of weight loss on higher caloric intake is correct cannot be proven through the study. Might as well be that appetite is lower on diets higher in protein. Even if what he says about the invalid caloric value of macros is correct, that still does not prove better body composition as long as rate of weight change is the same.
In any case, nobody denies that a certain amount of protein is required for optimal body composition.

Adonis does not know 1% of what Connelly does about nutrition and science. It's a joke to compare the two, really. That said, I make sure that I get 4 - 50 gram servings of lean protein with four out of the five of my meals each day. Only one of those servings is a whey shake. Typically I consume 24 ounces of lean chicken or turkey each day. Thats plenty; combined with a whey shake. I used to eat 400 grams or protein per day (fucking bullshit.....unless you weigh 300 lbs of lean muscle or are on steriods) and I regret it. Thankfully I did not damage my kidneys or digestive system.
