Title: 3 reasons your workout isn't working

3. The faux pas Exercising too hard, too often

I hate this shit, i see it written all the time. Does this author really believe that the 3rd most common reason bitches are fat is because they are working out too hard. No bitch who is fat works out too hard. The only time this is ever applicable is if you are a world class athlete training to tweak your body by milliseconds and perhaps needs to let her muscles recover a little more.

I take back my original post. After just seeing a couple whales power walking by my window it is clear they are not getting thinner because they are exercising too often and too hard. If they cut back a little and gave their bodies a chance to recover they'd be 10s.

Your thread has too much to do with working out, especially working out hard. It throws the regulars here who for the most part don't. Exercise here is like kryptonite.

That is so right!!! People who are afraid of training too much will never succeed.

"1. The faux pas Getting married to your strength routine
The facts If you do the same routine over and over, your muscles will simply adapt; you're likely to hit a plateau because each exercise stimulates only a limited number of muscle fibers. However, if you challenge your muscles
from a variety of angles by adding or alternating moves periodically, you'll get significantly more fibers into the act and develop more tone and strength."

Bullshit. Best strength routines are the same shit over and over (bench, squat etc) done with a light assistance movements after the real workout.

"2. The faux pas Performing your reps too quickly
The facts If you zoom through your repetitions when strength training, you'll be using momentum instead of muscle power. You won't get the same stimulus for muscle building, and you won't burn as many calories. You'll also be more susceptible to training injuries such as torn muscles or connective tissue."

Just plain old bullshit. Do I even need to explain.

Others were surprisingly factious but they were common sense anyway and many were some littly shit like tricep kickback or dumbbell fly advice.

I train each bodypart hard,2 times per week and i'm making solid gains in strength and muscle mass.

You have to be a real fucking idiot to overtrain, and it's likely half the people overtraining are just not getting the proper nutrition.
