24/7 "Cartoon Network", Disney, and others killed the concept of "Saturday morning cartoons". When I was a kid we had 4 channels total, and if you wanted cartoons you had to get up early Saturday and watch the test pattern until the broadcast day began with cartoons at 7 or so.
