for natural guys it's next to impossible, for geared up guys it's easier but still hard.

I don't think so..... I haven't had a great diet recently..... work and all.... so eating 6 - 7 times a day....  I'm down to 2 - 3 but have been more into my workouts..... workn' some new methods and my strength has been increasing..... surley muscle memory plays a part..... and I may not be as puffy big but am def. harder big and still growing too so all things being equal.....
I have always said it in a lot of my post that I look at my training as more important than diet.... and yes I'm still natty.....

I'll post new pics to compare to my old inspired by arnold thread..... more cut... lil' bigger / fuller..... all with poor diet but good training..... and in time, I'll be concentrating more on diet too because thats the way to get the most bang for your buck.....
I'm just a guy that loves to train.....  I have to be more dilligent with the food part too though to pack on the extra pounds....

just for giggles..... don't know the exact study but there was the on with the bird with the weight strapped to it's wing and it was underfeed and, if memory serves correct I think they removed it's testes to cease hormone production... and low and behold the bird grew muscle mass....

So I'm a big into the fact that the body will adapt to compensate no matter what.... and if it can't it dies.....
either way f*ck it.... so be it.....  I good with it either way so bring it cause I'll just keep liftin'

In my opinion, if you aren't close to your limits, you aren't going to suffer much.

Meh, I've gained strength "bulking" and "dieting". Definately easier eating a surplus of calories. I think if you diet sensibly and by that I mean including enough carbs for explosive strength during workouts, you'll gain strength if you cut your volume massively. I've seen guys lose literally 50, sometimes even 75 percent of their strength whilst on low carbs.
