You did show interest in Laurie Donnely. She was the same time frame as Carol and Mia.

although not competing, (too bad) Carol has been training competitors for at least a few years that I know of. She has been at quite a few of the shows prepping athletes.

carol is the greatest fitness or figure competitor ever. i have almost all of her routines on video and she would dominate fitness today! i created a group for her in yahoo groups if your interested. carol is the hottest woman of all time!

I wonder what became of Laurie Donnelly? I remember meeting her at a fitness symposium back in the mid 90s that my then professor was giving on as part of the ACSM. She was very well read and articulate in fitness and seemed like a genuinely nice person.

1996 Fitness America Pageant promo

This is a promo for the Fitness America Pageant. Former champions Laurie Donnelly, MaDonna Grimes, and Mia Finnegan are profiled. Competitors Candace Head and Amy Zych are also featured. Routine and swimsuit/bikini shots of former champions (especially Amy Fadhli) are shown. The best reason to watch this video is Mia doing gymnastics moves, including an aerial cartwheel, while wearing a patriotic thong bikini. This video's quality isn't as high as my others' due to its length.
