This was the premier supplement at one point.  First supplement I ever used back in highschool.

Anyone else try this stuff back in the day?

Ya I feel for all the Weider editorial telling me that all the pros used it! I've seen new print ads out for this product recently which is too funny (hasn't the Weider family made enough cash yet?). I also used anther product they made called "BIG" which tasted awful.

Ya they had a Dynamic Weight Gainer which I remember using as well as that Deca Plex I think it was called.  I remember getting pretty nauseous from them actually.  People can argue all day the supplements are useless but I think they have come a long way actually.

Weider is all we could get here in the 1980s and 1990s.
If you did not down the shakes straight away they turned to cement in your shaker and they gave you insane gas for the next 24 hours.

AHHH!!!! Sweet memories!!!  ;D

Actually, my first supplement was Joe Weider’s Dynamic Weight Gainer, given to me by my best friend, whose skinny stepfather got tired of using it, after taking only a third of the can.

When I saved up some money from my job, I upgraded to the "Signature Line" Dynamic Weight Gainer (that has the the label, similar to the one you posted, instead of the old beige one).

Eventually, I did get to try Dynamic Muscle Builder (I think I got it on Bally's clearance table). It was alright, a bit on the lumpy side, as I recall.
