where do you think he will end up? do you think its a good move for the cowboys? What team needs him. As a Falcons fan I can say that with all of his bullshit he might be a good fit in ATL. Doubt that will happen but just a thought
-
Send him to Chicago! We will straighten his ass out....
-
haha he would not last there, need a real qb in chi town though
-
I wonder who will really pick him up? I wonder if he would end up with the Giants or Jets. T.O. is doing sit-ups on his front porch as we speak now. Chicago could really use a great wide out but he needs to change his tude.
-
awesome move by the boys in my opinion he is at times a great player but he hasnt been worth all the shit he brings. Hopefully williams will step up as his performance last season with them was abismal, they lose the big playmaker but they have enough offensive weapons to be one of the top O's in the league.
-
i'm guessing skins, eagles, colts, chargers or even perhaps houston
i highly doubt he signs with a mediocre team
he will go to a contender

the skins are a mediocre team...i could see him going to them or the chargers i dont see him going to the eagles again or the colts.

no...the skins are good...the league is mediocre...the nfc east is a monster
skins had the 3rd best defense last year ....along with the real 08' mvp portis...skins are a contender.

I would be stunned if he went to Houston or back to the Eagles. The Texans have Andre Johnson and they do not need T.O. The Colts would not put up with his crap. Daniel Snyder would be willing to take that risk but with Randel-El and Moss, Snyder could move in on him. The Chargers are a good possibility but i have no clue what there cap is. Look for Oakland to be willing to take a chance on him. I can see him with the Giants if something goes wrong with Plaxico but i see him back with the Giants. Tom Coughlin would want incentives in his contract though because Tom even talked to Mario Manningham before drafting him about his past and he was nothing like T.O.
-
dude coughlin is not gonna go after t.o.
t.o. to colts is a strong possibility......
2 h.o.f.'ers coming together soley to win a superbowl. it's not farfetched...besides...t ony dungy is gone. Don't act like the colts are above signing him

dude having talent doesnt make you a good team, campbell was inconsistent at best, portis was hurt multiple times they have the potential to be a good team but last year they where mediocre.

id be pissed if he came to the texans I would take johnson over him anyday, we have walters, daniels, slayton just to name a few our offense is damn good and he would hurt more then he helped.

I do not see T.O. and Andre Johnson getting along at all. Matt Schaub could not handle T.O. Matt, Andre and Slatton all have a great chemistry and T.O. would be Team Obliterater.
-

no shit.
the skins need more talent anyway, they relied too much on their defense.
-
I'd be PISSED if he went to the Giants.he's nothing but trouble wherever he goes.
as a Giants fan I wished he stayed in Dallas.
-
I'm a little disappointed. I don't like T.O. and I'm a rabid Cowboy hater, so I was actually hoping he would stay in Dallas. Who is going to generate the drama in Dallas now?

Skins dont have the scratch for it...Haynesworth and Hall ate up all their space

Im with ya there bro..Look on the upside..Remember cowboys in late 90s and early 2000's.. no stars on the team. and they sucked.
-

The Skins can definitely sign him. Remember, there is no salary cap in 2010. So essentially they can sign Owens to a 3 year deal and not take a hit if they waive him or let him play out his contract after the 2010 season.
With Dan Synder, nothing is impossible. He's proven time and time again, he could care less about having team chemistry. He just likes to plug holes with big name aquisitions.

screw you all cowboys are gonna be a contender again next season, if romo could get his head out of his ass they might actually make it past the first round of the playoffs.

total ass hole but when he plays healthy he is a monster...
He is a monster when playing in the slot. Poses mismatches for smaller corners, and is too fast for LBs. Hands still to this day can be suspect. Doesn't have the speed to run past anyone, and he is TO. In any case, he will land with someone, but whom? I suspect Al Davis wishes he didn't let Randy Moss go, and goes after TO. TO would be a perfect cancer to blow up the Raiders.
The Cowboys still have a way to go to MAKE the playoffs let alone win a game. If memory serves me correctly, they still play in the NFC east. NY, and Philly are tough, and Washington should be better this year especially if Portis is healthy. I seriously doubt Roy Williams will have TO like numbers.
-
Both N.Y. teams have already said no way.
-
I think he will land in Oakland. I wish he would end up on SF, just so we could watch Singletary kick his ass on the sidelines!
-
Noooooooo! Not in SF. I actually think the smartest place for him to go is either NE or Indy. I doubt Indy wants any part of him, but it wouldn't surprise if NE took a shot given how they were able to handle Dillon and Moss.

t.o. still has breakaway speed no doubt.
he might be 35 but he takes extremely good care of his body
-
I hope nobody signs this ass. He is a ego centric cancer to any team he plays for. He can't get along with anyone so I hope teams pass. Most of the teams you guys have listed said they don't want him, including SF and Oakland.

the boys still have crayton, williams, whitten, barber, jones dude their offense is still pretty loaded they are in a tough division but still if they can get their O line back up to par then they will be a force.
-
the cowboys o-line is the who's who of nfl lineman
they need motivation
-
OAKLAND IS LOOKING PRETTY HARD I HEAR? I hope he lands somewhere other then oakland though, but he could help out. give them the space in the backfield and give russell a thug homie to throw to....

I remember watching one of their games late in the season and on one play the dude didnt even move maybe he got the count wrong or something but everybody exploded and he just sat there honestly didnt even move and his guy just went right past him. I mean cant be easy coming in as a rookie but shit when in doubt put your hands on somebody man.

i think that was against the giants, i remember the whole line standing still because there was miscommunication obviously and the gmen got a safety

Might as well bring back Lawrence Phillips while they're at it. I really don't want to see him back in SF. He is a cancer.

I cannot disagree with this statement. T.O. is and will be a cancer to whatever team that he plays for.

Singletary ain't gonna take him. I hope not. >:(

Singletary could possibly put T.O. in his place. Singletary took Vernon Davis but T.O. is a whole nother ball game.
-
Actually, Tennessee might be interested. The thing about T.O., he seems to make an immediate, positive impact on a team, but it only lasts a season or two. He could be able to help put Tennessee over the top, then they can ship him out afterward.
-

ya i cant see singletary putting up with his shit

This tells me he didn't have a lot of options.
Sources: Owens, Bills agree to deal

It didn't take long for T.O. to find a new home.
Terrell Owens has agreed to a one-year, $6.5 million deal with the Buffalo Bills, according to sources.
The Bills called a 6:15 p.m. news conference Saturday to announce the signing. According to a source, the entire contract is guaranteed.
Owens visited the Bills on Saturday. He was released by the Dallas Cowboys late Wednesday.
Owens' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said in a text message Friday that his client wouldn't be out of work for too long. Negotiations had begun with several teams, Rosenhaus said.
"There are several teams that are interested in signing Terrell," Rosenhaus said. "I have been in negotiations with these teams. I will not identify the teams at this time. Terrell and I expect to have a deal in place by the end of next week if not sooner."
The Cowboys paid Owens a $12 million signing bonus last year, which was included as part of a new four-year, $34 million deal. Dallas took a roughly $9 million salary-cap when it released of Owens.
There has been talk since the end of the Cowboys' 9-7 season, in which they missed the playoffs, that they would consider cutting Owens to improve locker-room morale.

T.O. is going to destroy Trent Edwards!
-
the bills will be a problem....
-
I like it as competitive as that division was last year it should make it even tougher gonna be some good games to watch next season.
-
I still disagree with a team actually signing him but at least it's for a year. He can't do much to the locker room in a year, but bottom line any team that signs him for a long term deal will be fucked eventually. It would be funny if teams just bounced his ass around the league. ;D
-
The AFC east is going to be the best division in football this year. It was close to as good as the NFC east last year and this move by the Bills will make them even tougher.
-
TO will give that little edge to the BIlls, and will build up Edward's confidence immensely. ANd with Lee Evans on the other side?? Watch out! Should be a killer offense this year.

How bad is the injury to the WR they drafted last year ???
-
Not too sure.. i think you're talking about hardy
-
TO hates the cold
-
TO instantly makes the bills better....and they are already good. Awesome singing for them. No risk - high reward. If he acts up they cut him. He can only help.

Yeah that guy.he must of torn up his knee pretty bad :-\

Exactly. I feel the real reason they brought him in was to build up Trent's confidence. Trent could be a terrific QB.
-

But the success they had was because T.O. was on the field. Williams didn't show me much last year. And with T.O. gone defenses can just key on Witten, and there goes the passing game. I say they should have kept T.O. and traded off Romo. $60 and he has never won a play off game, or one to put them in the playoffs.
-

I agree this is a no risk, high reward move by the Bills, but why do you call them good? They haven't made the playoffs in like nine years. They were 7-9 last year.
-

They are a good team based on talent. If you look at how they performed in 07 with half the team on ir and how they played last year at the start of the season you would see what I'm talking about. If you watch them play a lot you can see they are only a great player or two from being serious contenders. It's hard to explain and I know I look foolish saying it.....

You don't look foolish saying it, I was just asking why. I don't see many Bills games, so I really don't know much about them, other their offensive skill position players. I heard someone on the radio say they lost a lot of close games.
I was looking at T.O.'s first year numbers with Philly and Dallas and they are very good. Good thing they only signed him to a 1 year deal. That's all I would ever give him.

First practice
Bill's QB: Hey Terrell?
TO: Throw me the ball. (walks away)

From Peter King:
Quote of the Week I
"This might not be the most ideal place for a lot of people. But I'm my own guy. I beat to my own drum, go with my own thinking, my own intuitions.''
-- Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens, on the popularity of Buffalo as a landing spot for NFL players -- and on what makes him him tick.
Those last two sentences just made Dick Jauron shudder.
Quote of the Week II
"I am going to be the same person that I was for the last three years with the Cowboys. I demand a lot from myself and from the guys around me. I'm sure those guys ... that I was with for the last three years all know that whatever is being said out there, it's not accurate.''
-- Owens.
That first sentence just made Dick Jauron shudder. Why is everyone always wrong about Terrell Owens except Terrell Owens?

-
Owens is borderline insane, and obviously he has serious inferiority issues and he acts out irrationally....but, he is one hell of a WR and at worst the Bills get a "prove it year" out of Owens.

I'm glad Jason Garrett never came to the Ravens last offseason. The Ravens really wanted him bad too before they settled on Harbaugh. Garrett definitely wants and feels he deserves a shot at being head coach over Phillips. There could be some tension this season between those two coaches. Philips could potentially be fired by mid-season this year if the Cowboys don't get off to a fast start. Jerry Jones is getting tired of fucking around. He badly wants that fourth Lombardi trophy.

So you do agree that Garrett is soon to be the main man in Dallas, right?
-

I have no idea.....Jones may not want to hire a guy who is smart enough to want to run the team himself. Jones is an egomaniac, he proably thinks that he can run the team best.
-
ya phillips is a moron, i dont know why but for some reason when i see him i instantly think pud
-
I hope the Cowboys are now able to turn this thing around. With elite professionals like Romo and Witten they are destined for great things.
Yeah, 13 years without a play off win.....
Romo and Witten leading the way.....

Agreed. The Giants got better when Shockey left. Guys like TO bring down the play of the guys around him. It's the same story in any workplace. Negativity is contagious.
