If that makes me an enemy of the White House, then call me a general of an army that Obama may not even know exists -- tens of millions of people who live in fear of having no money saved when they need it and who get poorer by the day.

Racism, pure and simple. I mean, what other reason would a highly skilled financial professional educated at Harvard with his own television show have to bash Obama's stimulus plan. Forget the numbers, or the results- we know this is Jim Cramer playing the race card.

Not as many as have lost their savings because they voted in THE DESTROYER OF WEALTH OBAMA.

While being wrong on a particular stock is one thing, the consensus uis quickly building, even amongst democrats, that Obama is the enemy of the economy and capitilisim.

Face it, he is a making what was a bad situation much much worse.

I think rather than getting hysterical (like Cramer and some on this board) I'll just wait for some actual results

Uh, the market has lost 3000 points on the DJI since he has been president.  Those results speak for themselves.

on Jan 20th 2009 (Obama became president) the Dow opened at 8,237.00....today it closed at 6,594.00

8,237.00 minus 6,594.00 = 1,643 points

3333, do you always make shit up?

333386 your wrong. You see, even though the result would be "catastophic" unless the bill was passed without anyone reading it, the benefits to the economy are supposed to be felt 5 and 10 years from now. Apparently investing in windmills and pig odor research will help the economy down the road. The plunge the market has undergone recently is George Bush's fault. Wake up and face facts- This flawless logic is what will re-energize the American people. We also need higher taxes, more expensive electricity a ban on assault weapons and amnesty for 20 million illegal aliens. That will help stimulate the economy as well, because people will be friendlier to the earth and less violent toward one another.

My point was along the lines of what Cramer was saying in that Obama is helping sending things south with his policies proposals and plans that he has laid out whether it be higher taxes, cap and trade, budget, etc..

Obama's policies have NOT helped this situation.  No one in the private sector or on wall street wants bigger government, which is exactly what Obama is giving us.

Most other docs I have talked to are really worried about nationalized healthcare and taking even more autonomy away from docs in favor of more overburdening rules, regulations and non-physician administrators who typically make overall care worse.

For those on this board or anywhere else who state " let's waite for the results" you are shootin' craps.

The results are in..........Obama sucks. 333386 is right.

Lets get one thing straight here. The government does not create jobs in the private sector. The government never has. The private sector is what creates jobs. This "stimulus plan" is a monster that will ravage our economy. The jobs are already out there waiting for the government to release the tax burden and bullshit regulations on business so that they can re-hire those that where laid off.
When Reagan came to office the economy was in much worse condition than what it is in now. He did not throw money at it. He simply cut taxes on businesses, deregulated where it needed, lowered interest rates, and let the free markets kick ass and it worked.

Look, if Obama wants to turn anything around, he needs to do the following immediately:

1.   Scrap his budget plans
2.   Cut Capital Gains taxs
3.   No income tax increases.
4.   No cap & trade insanity
5.   No card check
6.   Bring back the up-tick rule
7.   Get rid of Mark to Market accounting
8.   Give incentives for companies to open uop factories in the USA
9.   Fire Geithner.
10.  Cut spending across the board 10%

so essentially, return to the bush policy?

Dude, they both borrowed like hell.
Bush gave the $ to big companies who set up shop overseas, and to war contractors.
Obama is giving the $ to domestic people who will quickly spend it.

i dont 'support' him... I understand the necessity of a pendulum between the parties of the rich and the poor, every 8 or 12 years.

Rich ppl got hooked the F up under Bush, let's be honest.  They smelled change when dems won in 2006 and they moved all their $ out in 2007/2008.

(Just like all the .com stringpullers pulled out all their $ just 3 weeks before Bushtook over in 2001, or the recession caused when rich ppl ran with $ in 91 when Bush1 left.  Everyone cleans house and cashes out when a new admin enters.)

Poor ppl will get hooked the F up now, for 8 years.

The middle class will grow, and 51% of people will tire of it, and vote in a repub in 2016.  This person will hook up rich people for 8 years, etc etc.

You dont get it tho, BILLY.  You think one party should rule forever.  You dont understand the pendulum, and the necessity of it.

bush went far right. loonly far right.  halibruton stock skyrocketed, blackwater makes billions we'll never hear about, and social programs slashed.

obama's going equally far right.

maybe in 4 or 8 years we'll be back in the middle again.

obama thinks we have to go far left to undo the far right.  He has more info than we do.
