One of my lib freinds sent me that.  It would be funny if it were not so dishonest and fraudulent.

Santelli never supported the bank bailout or any of the others.

BTW - Cramer said it best - the market speaks for itself.

Santelli would be hating life right now (as we all would) if the US Govt didn't do something

disclaimer:  I'm not fan of the way Bush/Paulsen handled the bail out either

Paulson needs a jail cell.  I simply cant fathom how they pushed through this TARP mess and did not force the banks to segregate the funds in a seperate account to show how said funds were being used.

It seems so elementary to me that this would have been a requirement for these banks to get any money that it just is mind blowing.

Additionally, how did they wrote the checks or fund the banks???

Wire transfer???
Check???

The mechanic's of this thing still seems so rife with fraud.

For example - lets say Psaulson had or formed a bank or some other entity or subgroup within a bank.  how would anyone know if Paulson was not himself wiring millions to himself????

This whole mess is very maddening.

Stewart made it seems as if Santelli favored all the other bailouts but not to the "poor" homeowners in default.  Santelli was and is against all the bailouts and you would not know that watching that clip.

Stewart is mostly pissed because Santelli was booked on the show and then bailed out.

Whether Santelli was for the bailout or not it's still funny that he's riling up a bunch of guys who would probably be unemployed had it not been for the bailout

No he didn't... He specifically said HE DID NOT favor the bailouts. Stewart SAID this... Go back and look at the clip again.

He said the homeowner bailout.  He did not let the viewer know that Santelli is against all bailouts, including those for the banks.  The impression was made that Santelli was purely against the homeowner but not against the banks, which he is.

Yeah, its just unbelievable that they gave these banks the TARP funds without strict accountability.  How elementary is right.
