i'm since training is very hard.always tired.
any tips to survive at "nightworking"?

Make sure you eat food, drink adequate fluids and breathe regularly. You should make it out all right as long as you follow those important tips.

yep. I work nights and when I was semi serious I HAD to do eca. Nights mess up your system bad.

I'm working late evening shifts for the remainder of the month and it's pretty bogus. For me, energy isn't the problem. It's getting my ass to bed without procrastinating that's the hard part.

I was just being facetious with my advice.

I've worked every shift, at every angle of the day. Been up going to bed at 2:30am from gigs as a musician. I routinely wake up now at 2:30am in order to go to work- and I go to bed at 7pm. I'm a part animal! :P
When I started work at 10pm to reset grocery markets, the best thing I found would be to go home and get a good nap in. At least 4-5hrs if possible, then wake up hit the gym and then go back to bed as my schedule permitted.
Working that shift, by the way, was the absolute worst I have ever had to put myself through.

The secret is to adjust your sleeping pattern to mimic how you would sleep if it were a normal 9-5.
So lets say u work 10pm-6am.
Sleep from 2pm-9pm Work...then come home, go to gym, eat, do what u want etc....until 2pm. then back to sleep.
THE WORST THING U CAN DO IS GO TO SLEEP WHEN U FINISH WORK.
U WOULDN'T DO THAT IF U WORKED NORMAL 9-5 HOURS.....

just pick a time to sleep and stick with it through out the week. one of the worst things you can do is to flip your schedule every weekend or whenever you have off.
if you decide to sleep after work, say around 9am keep it as close to that all week. if you party during the weekend after everyone passes out go eat, watch tv, do something and try to go to sleep fairly late maybe not 9 but 5-6 used to work for me!
i always found myself getting up in the middle of the day to accommodate people but once you tell yourself ,sort of an emergency, you wouldn't wake up at 1am just to hang out so why would you wake at 1pm when your now sleeping?
i have done night work on and off for close to 10 years, just get into a rhythm of sleep and you body will do its best to acclimate.

This is the best advice for night owls. I would add that in the summer keep the air conditioning icy cold. Cold enough to need one light blanket. Have yourself checked for excessive snoring/apnea also. It can sneak up on night workers who may mistakenly put it off to working nights.

ive done my fair share of nightshifts down the docks, mostly 12hr shifts too,,, and its no different to when your working thru the day, energy wise,,,
id finish work at 7.00 am, drive home, have a meal, watch telly for an hr and go to sleep,,, set the alarm for 4pm, get up, cook me meals for the night, go and train, then go to work for 7... peice of piss if you realy want to do it..
ive even done this at the beggining of a show prep, was even harder, but if u want it u can do it...

any tips to survive at "nightworking"?
iīm doing nightshifts for more than 21 years. Working from 21-07 (10 hours, 4 days). So i have 3 days a week off. I donīt know how many nights you are working ? (letīs say 5). In that case i suggest to train on the 2 days "off-Working" + 2 workouts on the 5 days you had to go
to work. Training right after nightshift is impossible. You are to tired, canīt train intense, and will activate youre cardiovascular system so you canīt go to sleep for Hours after that early workout. So, get a small meal when arriving at home and go to bed (something between 6-8 Hours). Go training before your nightshift, cause the training helps also not to get to tired to early in the night. (Tip: Take some kind of pre-Workout supps, NO Xplode, or other brands...before your workout so the effect last up for hours and help you to get through the nightshift, but donīt interact to much with "going to bed 10-12 hours later")
