Title: Bodybuilding to go mainstream

I remember when Ronnie was Mr. O everyone talked about how when Jay won the O how bodybuilding would go mainstream because of his look and he is white and stuff like that.  Well that never really ever happened did it?  What gives?

Bodybuilding will never go mainstream as long as bodybuilders continue to have bodies that Americans (fuck other countries  ;D) aren't envious of and don't want. With Arnold everyone who saw him wanted to look like him, who the hell wants to look like midget dexter jackson or jay cutler.

Bodybuilding will never be mainstream, its a cult sport. Mainstream culture doesnt accept it. With the drugs and the difficulty in attaining a physique its to difficult for mainstream. How long have we been trying to get to mainstream? 50 yrs?  ::)
