Title: 2 questions (ECA stack and Strechmarks)
Post by: wildsteve on March 11, 2009, 11:24:15 PM
ECA stack - bronkaid, caffiene pill, asprin three times daily? Who has done this? any advice?

Stretchmarks - Anyone have any cream they've used and seen results with? Im okay with what I have, just don't want to make it bigger.

Thanks!

Yea that's pretty standard for ECA, what advice do you want?  There's a ton of threads about it already, just do a search.

I've used Palmers cocoa butter cream which helped keep a few stretch marks from getting worse.  Pregnant women use it as well with good success.

drop the asprin - gets in the way of post workout inflammation

i dont see how they could. they stop the production of prostaglandins. all the growth you get from a workout is because of the prostaglandin pgf2a.

But why top bb's use painkillers then..?

because they dont know any better ?   i dont know.  i do know that the apsrin doesnt help much at all for fat loss, and it inhibits prostaglandin production...and pgf2a is not only responsble for the growth, but its also very good at burning off fat.

nsaids dotn stop protien synthesis altogether, just protein synthesis from prostaglandins/inflamation. but with steroids you have androgen receptor mediated protein synthesis going on all the time anyway....so thats probably why pro's would still be able to gain when taking a bunch of nsaids/painkillers

I like eca.  I would start off 1x per day and then increase if you need it, no need to start 3x/day imo.   Whether to use aspirin or not is debateable.  not sure where I stand on that one.

   Me too.

I've never tried it without aspirin, was always of the impression it was synergistic.

Have to give it a go and see if there's any difference...

If you can get your hands on some Vit. E lotion, that seems to help with the stretch marks.

I get a little jittery also.

I've found that eating a little something within around 20min helps. Yogurt seems to work pretty good.
