Title: Bench Press Workout

Currently I am doing the following bench workout. My goal is to bench 300.
 135 x 10
 185 x 5
 225 x 5
 225 x 5
 240 x 3
 240 x 3
 185 x 5
 145 x 10   all the 145 reps and set done within 8 minutes total
 145 x 10
 145 x 10
 145 x 10
 145 x 10   

After the bench I do Tri work

Tri extentions with that curly bar with 35 lbs on each side
for 4 sets of 8 reps.

abs

Fly Machine

140 x 10
140 x 10
140 x 10

and that is my workout on my benching day. Any Advice suggestions would be appreciated.

Don't know about doing the same workout every chest day.And most will say it's to many set's.I'm not one of those guys though I squeeze as many sets as possible into an hour.

Too many sets in my opinion.....

try to do 3 warm ups and then 2-3 working sets.... just my 2 cents.

oh....... one more thing

do your triceps work on another day, seperate from chest and shoulders.

trust me.... you'll get a better triceps workout.

I knew a guy who did that exact same workout and they found him dead in his bathtub..

No.  I disagree with that.  Maybe for bodybuilding, but not powerlifting.

Nice work!
