It takes a lot of coordination, and a bit of strength. Try doing a pistol squat to a box (even a low one), and its way easier than doing a free pistol squat... so a lot of it is about coordination. I've never really practiced doing free pistol squats, but I have managed to do one before ;D

i got 365 for 7 going to parallel and i feel that's respectable. as a matter of fact 315 and above with good range of motion is respectable - it's rare to come by in my gym. pshh fuckin la fitness.

Honestly, at this point of seeing how few people even train legs, let alone squat...I've lowered my standards to have MUCh respect for anyone I see even squat 315 with good form :-\ It's sad really :'(

Same here... leg presses are my movement of choice these days.
When I was squatting I never tried a one rep max, but i could squat 405 for high reps all day long

Another vid from you are on 100mg dball and 750mg Sus cycle ::). What can you do now, 135 for a few ::). Enough with these vids, when you can lift those poundages consistently w/o aid of cycle that will be impressive, these vids just are not!
