under the extremely best best circumstances i heard that was the limit and the human body (without drugs)
could only make 1 pound a week?
what if you are coming off a lay off and you lost 30 pounds, that means you have to wait 30 weeks for the muscle to come back?

hahahaha probably the most sound advice ever given on getbig...seriously just get in and try and improve every workout, eat good and rest.

52 pounds of muscle in a year, drug free is a perfectly respectable accomplishment imo. Just go for it and let us know how it works out.

Agreed. Unless you were an absolute beginner maybe. But most experienced trainers are lucky if they can gain a good 5-10lbs of muscle in a year.
