The U.S. budget deficit in 2009 is projected to spike to between $1.67 trillion and $1.85 trillion, according to estimates released Friday by the Congressional Budget Office.
Much will depend on the extent to which President Obama's budget proposals are enacted by Congress.

Did you notice that the budget defecit jumped nine fold since Obama came into office. it was something on the order of 200 Billion before Obama...now that bailouts are being handed to everyone except those who need it, all of a sudden the deficit climbs to 1.8 Trillion

Expected to grow over a trillion a year for the next ten years. $10 Trillion.
