I quit smoking three years ago, but I agree with what you are saying. I have a major issue with those in government that grandstand about the evils of smoking, yet not one has ever refused to accept the tax revenue. I'm not advocating outlawing cigarettes, but I would have a lot more respect for a lawmaker who tries to outlaw smoking than these who take the money but treat smokers like second-class citizens.

Michigan, they were 6 and change. As of last Monday they are 7 and change.

If they are going to tax smokers, they need to tax fast food more. It probably causes more death with heart disease.
