Lurker are you trying to hint at some of your own personal wrongdoing? I am starting to think you are a closet republican child molester. If not I think you were the victim of sexual molestation by a republican.

Every post you make is about Republicans and pedophilia- Were you molested by Bob Dole when you were a child or something?  ???

Judging by the indictments, arrests and scandals it WOULD have had to be a Republican wouldn't it?

But yeah, I am a Republican pedophile.  Want to meet in the public restroom of Toys R Us?

Well, at least your honest about it. The first step in recovery is admitting you have a problem. Have you sought counseling or other medical treatment for your problem?

In that case, where can I purchase pedophile materials?  Since obviously stealing them from a fellow Repub would, in essence, make me a lib.

I find it funny how all these Bush supporters get in a 'tizzy' over this.  Bush enacted a law which gave the government unprecedented power over the American peoples freedom.  It allowed them to circumnavigate the constitution and basic freedoms of Americans.  NOW you want to point fingers at Obama for carrying on this non-sense.  Where are your brains? Have you all become so ingrained with right wing doctrine that everything done by Obama is somehow 'worse than Bush ever was' as if trying to justify the biggest fu*k up in US history.

Rather than focusing on GWB vs. Obama, why dont you want to discuss the merits of this program, or lack thereof?????

I'm not condoning enacting such laws.  In fact i find it repugnant that he would believe it is okay to search a private citizens computer for anything without it first being approved by a court of law.

However, i did want to point out the irony of bashing Obama for the same thing many Americans (Dem and Rep) supported when first enacted under the Bush Administration.  There wasn't this much action from those people when the patriot act was first enacted was there?

Ask yourself 'Did you take the time to post about it on a message board in a negative way when Bush did it?'  If not you really are just another brain washed soul whose brain is fodder for the republican propaganda machine.

Because liberals on the board typically rely on some moral equivalency nonsense, rather than addressing the issue at hand.

No I did not.  And I agree with you BTW.  It took my a long time to see the rue GWB that I did not want to believe at first.  However, i see the same thing going on with the followers of Obama.

I voted for Bush twice, but regard him with disdain, scorn, and revulsion.  i have a huge list like everyone else, but I see the same thing going on with Obama and his followers right now and I know this to be true because I did not scrutinize GWB in the beginning the way I should have.

That does not make it ok, however, to allow Obama to be the same as Bush because he has a D next to his name as opposed to an R.

I find it amusing that cons whining about what Obama is doing has the same cookie cutter reply when it is pointed out that Bush did the same.

"Oh, are you going to blame it on Bush"
"Two wrongs don't make a right"
"Bush bashing, etc..."

These are the EXACT same people that when Bush was in office and people complained about him then, did WHAT??  Yep, pushed it all back on Clinton.

Funny they didn't follow their own advice back then.

Fine, keep apologizing for this marxist, keep covering up for this chaos and bankruptcy.  Many of us openly express our dissapointment with Bush and what he did, yet you simply cannot accept the fact the GWB/Obama are the same.

2010 elections are going to make 1994 look like nothing the way your messiah is going.

He is a disaster of biblical measure and blaming Bush is not going to work as an excuse much longer for this garbage.

Obama Administration Says Treaty Text Is State Secret [ACTA]
PC World ^ | Mar 13, 2009 | Grant Gross

Posted on Friday, March 27, 2009 3:07:36 PM by Lorianne

The Office of U.S. Trade Representative (USTR), part of President Barack Obama's office, has denied a company's request for information about a secretive anticounterfeiting trade agreement being negotiated, citing national security concerns.

The USTR this week denied a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request from Knowledge Ecology International, an intellectual-property research and advocacy group, even though Obama, in one of his first presidential memos, directed that agencies be more forthcoming with information requested by the public.

The USTR under Obama seems to be taking the same position about the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) as it did under former President George Bush, that the treaty documents are not open to the public. One of Obama's campaign promises was to make government more open and responsive to the public.

The USTR, in a letter to Knowledge Ecology International's director James Love, said information in ACTA, an anticounterfeiting and antipiracy pact being negotiated among the U.S. and several other nations, is "properly classified in the interest of national security."

Critics of the secrecy say the treaty could have a major impact on the way the U.S. enforces intellectual-property law, including the potential for U.S. law enforcement agencies arresting U.S. residents for breaking other countries' IP laws.

Can I play?  Can I play the Google game too?  Let me punch in Republican... ahhh there it is.

Randal David Ankeney is the Republican activist who was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a child with force. He was charged with six counts related to getting a 13-year-old girl stoned on pot and then having sex with her. Ankeny has also been accused of sexually assaulting another girl. Parker J. Bena was a Republican activist and a key player in the campaign to elect George W. Bush as President. Bena was charged and later pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography and lying to the FBI. Bena reportedly told the feds that he had received an unsolicited e-mail containing pictures of children (some as young as three years old) performing various sexual acts, but agents learned that he had in fact voluntarily entered a number of child pornography websites and downloaded the images himself. This is said to have involved acts with children as young as 3 years old, on his home computer. Parker J. Bena was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison and fined $18,000. Louis Beres is a past chairman of the Christian Coalition of Oregon. Three of his family members accuse him of molesting them as children, when they were pre-teens. In an Editor and Publisher article, in August 2006, Beres confessed to the accusations facing him. The Portland Mercury

President of the United States George W. Bush, was accused in a criminal complaint and lawsuit of raping Margie Schoedinger, who later died in a questionable case of suicide. Bush was also accused by Tammy Phillips, a former stripper, who was quoted in the National Enquirer in 2000 saying she had an affair with Bush that had ended in 1999. Another serious question involves statements from the wife of Red Blount, whom Bush campaigned for, while possibly A.W.O.L from the Air National Guard at age 26. She stated that he was "all over their 14 year old daughter." Multiple Sources

Mark Foley, Republican Representative, Florida Sixteenth Congressional District. Resigned after trying to solicit sex from male congressional pages via an instant messenger program. The conversations included his asking a sixteen-year-old "stud" whether his penis was erect and requesting that he take out and measure his penis. The cover-up involved Republican House Majority Leader John Boehner, Ohio Eighth Congressional District and Republican House Speaker Dennis Hastert, Illinois Fourteenth District.

Philip Giordano, the former Republican mayor of Waterbury, Connecticut was sentenced by a state court to serve 37 years for forcing two little girls to perform acts of oral sex on him in his Waterbury City Hall office. While investigating municipal corruption, the FBI discovered phone records and pictures of Giordano with a prostitute named Guitana Jones, as well as with her 10-year-old niece and her 8-year-old daughter. 37-years is a very long prison sentence, many said at the time that it still wasn't enough. Matthew Glavin, president and CEO of the Southeastern Legal Foundation, was a big player in the Clinton Impeachment proceedings, and he has spearheaded a good number of anti-homosexual jihads. He has been arrested multiple times for public indecency, sources report, one time it was for fondling the crotch of the police officer who was arresting him at a national park. Opponents say his actions were treated "with kid gloves" and therefore inadequate.

Lewis "Scooter" Libby is the former Assistant to the President and Chief of Staff to Vice President Dick Cheney who was convicted but recently exempted from having to serve his sentence by the President. In 1996, "Scooter" Libby published a novel containing bizarre sexual content, including bestiality and pedophilia. Other high level White House officials were said to have been involved in the book that Libby published.

Strom Thurmond was an outspoken southern republican senator and racist. According to information revealed toward the end of his life, he had as a younger man raped and impregnanted a 15-year old African American maid. Throughout his adult life, as a politician and U.S. Senator, Thurmond quietly contributed to the family of the young African-American mother of his child. In contrast to, say, George "I Was Wrong" Wallace, Thurmond had always been an ornery redemption project. He did not repent. Even so, his illegitimate daughter further complicated the moral picture. Donald Fleischman, Brown County, WI, Republican Party Chairman, resigned his post after he was charged with two counts of child enticement, two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a child and a single charge of exposing himself to a child.[16]

Ted Klaudt, former South Dakota State Rep., found guilty of four counts of second-degree rape of two teenage foster daughters.[18][19]

Ronald C. Kline, Republican Judge in Orange County, CA, pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography on his home computer after six years of legal wrangling. In 2002, charged with child molestation and under house arrest on federal charges of possessing child pornography, political analysts still gave him a 50-50 chance of winning the March 5 primary for the Orange County Superior Court seat. Lurker as usual you are missing the point. I didn't have a problem with what Bush did, but everyone else went apeshit and I am sure you did also. Now that a democrat is doing essentially the exact same thing, are you going to get on your soap box and express the same outrage?

I'll go out on a limb here and say no, you won't. All your going to do is mindlessly repeat "Bush did the same thing" in the same drone manner you respond to everything Obama does that mimics Bush.

If you applaud Obama's new law, are you now a proponent of the Patriot Act, or the Terrorist Survailence Program, or are we now going to pick and choose what government survailence methods we like or dislike based on the sitting Presidents political party?

I certainly don't.

And I'm a liberal by the way.

Bush broke every rule in the book and was such a bad president that even people in his party shy away from commenting anything on it. Conservatives should follow suit and try not to equate Bush's 8 years in office with anything that came before him, as it is a losing battle.

My two cents.

I think some people are calling it "excusing it" because something is posted about an act obama is trying to pass and the first thing out of everyone's mouth is "So what! bush did it too! Why weren't you mad then!"  Besides the fact that it is an infantile ad hominem argument, the people making these arguments just look like obama sympathizers.  Bush is not president anymore.  Barack Obama is the president of the United States.  If you voted for Obama, it IS ok to disagree with him on certain things.  It doesn't mean that you were wrong in voting for him.

We are supposed to learn from our mistakes.  Many people who voted for Bush are learing from that mistake in not holding his feet to the fire.

By that same token, Obama voters are no different than the GWB voters who refused to be honest when GWB was doing bad things.

This bill, IMHO is horrible.

I agree, but equating Barak to Bush is a tad bit premature at this point. Obama has TONS of fuckup to do before he gets to Bush's league.

Let's be realistic here.

He has only been there a short time and already pushing a Big Brother agenda like Bush did with bills like this.

Anyone with as much power as the president should always be scrutinized closely.

No doubt, but he is a looooong way from being anywhere close to Bush.

Personally I do not think people are going to put up with his hope bullshit. By this I mean that he was put into power to fix the bureaucratic rot in Washington and he ain't doing it. People are fed up. Everyone wants change and this two-faced individual is walking around as though he is changing something. A lot of people voted for him because he kept on repeating the change this and change that slogan and We The People are not getting that.

This a-hole is not only giving money away to people who do not need it, it is simply thinking about raising the taxes of the middle class. I mean he won't come out and say it, but it is happening. I mean the transportation system in NY is shit. There ain't no denying it. Well, I just found out that they are raising the price AGAIN!!!! For both, MetroNorth and the subway system, as well as the tolls on the bridges. Now I know what this guy meant when he kept repeating the "Change" slogan, because by the time he's gone that's all I'll have in me pocket: Change.

Something's gotta happen in this fucking country dude. This is too fucking much. 15Gs in property taxes, 25Gs in income tax, 6s in state and local taxes, about 10Gs in sales tax. That's 50Gs from a family of two. I mean, give me a fucking break Obama!! If he raises taxes I'm moving to Mexico. Fuck him and his boys.

I agree i said many time during the campaigns that no matter who gets in taxes will get raised, i figured that most of the major actions taken would be the same from obama or mccain i didnt really see barry taking it as far as he has but i should have known...They do that same shit here in Houston man we have a beltway thats a freeway that circles Houston that you have to pay for 1.50 a toll +on/off tolls which are less depending on where they are but they said that once the beltway was paid for through tolls it would be free but every few months they raise the price of the toll by .25 cents just pure shit man.

Raising prices of public services is a hidden tax. The same way the money that is currently being given to Big Business to get rid of their toxic assets is a hidden tax on future generations. I mean, whoever wins, republicrat or demoblican, is likely to raise taxes any ways, but saying that they are going to raise taxes on the top 10% and making it seems as though it is going to be "Da Cure" for everyone's economic problems... that is just wrong! I bet my left nut the bulk of the taxes needed to pay for the deficits is going to come from the middle class. I'll bet my left testicle on it. Tolls are going up. Trains and buses are going up. Gas is going to go up. That is where the money is going to come from.

My 2 cents dude.

im sorry i should have made it clearer i always said they meaning whoever won would raise taxes on the middle class b/c thats where the majority of the money is in this country

You are not as conspiratorial as I am.  The govt knows that most middle class people dont want to be poor and realize they are never going to be rich therefore do what they have to do to be good little serfs and not rock the boat.

The middle class has kids, mortgage etc and will not do things to threaten that like tax protests, burning things, or other measures to show outrage..

The MTA is so screwed up.  its not fair or just what they are doing and raising the fare to $2.50 is going to hurt a lot of people.

Screwed up is not the word. Paying $ 2.50 per ride when you are forced to accept worst service, the pungent stench of 30-year old rat piss at every station and the constant delays, while seeing all these MTA board assholes pretend they care at public hearings is just criminal.

They still have not come fully clean about the keeping of two sets of books as for the finances.

Additionally, the scam that the retirees pulled with the fraudulent disability claims has not been cleared up either.

Before they get one more dime, they need to come completely clean and have a federal monitor over them or some other type of receivership.

The day the average middle class white guy stands up and gets in the street with his AR15 or 870, or just says enough, then shit will change.  Let me change that, the day the average middle class guy, of whatever color, and teams up with lower middle class working people not on welfare, then its on.

Its sad, but the government regards blacks as serfs as it is, seniors as slaves to medicair and ss, and students as disorganized kids who cant really mount any kind of opposition.

The govt fears McVeigh types far more than a typical ghetto gangbasnger because they know a few hundred or few thousand mcveigh types can really outthink and outsmart the govt if they wanted to.
douglass's running around like that?????

If they keep this garbage up, they are going to make many otherwise normaol people into Travis Bickle.
Think of the that movie Falling Down.  Imagine thousands of Michael

I guess any thought of peaceful resistance is not in your future.  You know, like organized strikes, non-payment of taxes, or the like.  The only thing a few hundred McVeigh types would do to our government is become walking targets with guaranteed death sentences.

Do you know what Bickle, McVeigh and the Douglas character have in common?  They are insane killers.  Insanity is not all that it's cracked up to be.

A low-level hacker can transfer contraband onto another person's computer relatively easily.

This is a reason to be concerned.

Actually the electronic footprint could be reviewed and used to determine whether the original owner was the one who downloaded it or if it was trojan'd in.

I dont disagree at all, however it seems to me that the government does not react to peacful measures such as strikes, etc.  They are doing whatever the F they want to do.

Take illegal immigration for example.  75% or better are ardently against this chaos, yet the scumbags like ZERO, Bush, McLame, keep trying to tell us that unfettered mass migration of illegals is good for us.

I dont ever want to see it come to violence, but think violence is going to be the natural outcome of the govenment dicatator wannabes like ZERO trying to run everyones' life against their wishes.
