dear god of hormones (gh15)

What are the best back exercises.. never have i once found you recommending an exercise for width, thickness etc. It would be appreciated if i'd get your opinion!

all i can tell you is what worked for my career friend,,

width: chin ups,,t bar rows,,dumbell rows
thickness: pull downs on the hammer with real plates when you do 5-6 45s each side you will have a thick back,,also thickness of back has more to do with the hormones you take rather than with the training you do

there was this thing invented called a barbell, what you do is take weights and put them on the bar and then bend over and row it into your stomach, works great.

Barbell rows are great, but Nothing gives me a pump in my back like the Nautilus

Arthur jones may have been out of his mind, but he hit a home run with that machine, it takes your arms out of the equation, which for me is great because my I'm arm dominant, they tend to take over

Yea because all you ever need to do is BB rows  ::)  As much as I love BB rows, some variation is required.  I've always wanted to try that machine out because everyone I've ever talked to who's used it said it was great.

My back exploded in width when I started doing upright barbell rows and t-bar rows (after watching Blood & Guts, lol)

Yeah I love those too. I hate bent-over rows... never feel them as much as t-bar and db rows.

Pretty much every useful back exercise is summarized in these two videos (except for lower back which he trains on a different day)
