While trying to balance extra hours at work and still maintaining a good gym schedule I've noticed that I have been relying heavily on Caffeine to get through the day, or at least allow me to function with more energy throughout the day.
I took notice yesterday and discovered that I downed almost 600mg of caffeine...this seemed like an absurd amount and I assume that I will need cut it back some, but my question is...how much caffeine is too much, and would it be better to get through the day without it?

600 seems like a lot, i think that would be the amount in 3 BIG cups of Starbucks.

it seemed like it to me as well bro, that's why I've been beginning to wonder. It's going to be a bitch to cut it back though now that I've grown accustomed to using it.

Over a days worth of time, 600 is high, but tolerable for me.
At one time, I'll have 300mg or so (1.5 200mg tabs), and that will get me going pretty damn good.
But if I were to have too much more than that, I'd be Beavis at the end of his movie....CORNHOLIO!!!!

Great question. I take around 600 mg on a daily basis. Sometimes even more and I'm wondering if its too much.

What types of disorders? Can you expand a bit on this?

It's like anything else. When you are running those nerves, receptors, and transmitters on overdrive because of your demanding lifestyle somewhere you are going to suffer wether it be shitty lifts, anxiety, depression, or poor vision. It's not going to be something you notice on a large scale at first but you can't possibly beleive that using a stimulant on a daily basis will go without some consequence. It creates a response in your body to consistantly run on the "fight or flight" response keeping adrenaline and stress hormones in the body. If I were to give you advice I would say keep it to 1-2 cups of coffee and thats it. Everyone is different and will
