Title: Tazz gone from WWE
Post by: northernlights on March 31, 2009, 09:05:46 AM: According to Pwinsider.com: Former ECW World champion and long-time WWE announcer Tazz left World Wrestling Entertainment last night after calling the matches for this Friday's edition of Smackdown. He is now officially done with the company as his WWE contract expires today.

Post by: northernlights on March 31, 2009, 11:07:22 AM: Tazz was probably the best color commentator to come along since Bobby Heenan. If you listen to Michael Cole now and Michael Cole when he was with Tazz, it is obvious how much better Tazz made Cole look. Michael Cole is horrible now.

It is being reported that Tazz gave WWE officials notice that he is leaving several weeks ago. He told friends his contract expired today and he will not be at WrestleMania 25. He was said to be burnout from the schedule and needed to recharge, which was one of the factors for leaving.

JBL will replace him on the smackdown annonce table. He can't wrestle anymore as his back is fried. Mysterio pinned him and won the IC title in like 15 seconds at mania.

Really? I read an interview recently where he said he was done with WWE for good and was happy at ESPN. I like him as a heel announcer, something they need with King being neutered.

As of right now it' seither Coachman, Kevin Kelly or JBL

JBL said he's gonna go and concentrate on his businesses, so he won't be with the WWE for the foreseeable future. Kelly was asked recently if he was announcing the new Superstars show and he said no, so maybe he's doing Smackdown.

Could be someone completely new?

I think that's just for this week's edition. There'll be something happening in the Draft, so we'll find out then.
