Anybody believe there's something to this? Is there any evidence for it or is it another money spinner for Charles Loliquin?
-
I know there's a good article on it on Milos' board, check it out.

It's mostly bullshit invented for money by quack and hack charles poliquin aka loliquin.
The minor truths that do exist in this aren't his discoveries at all.
Stay away.

Yeh, in the whole biosignature thing he has taken some pathologies, then equated similar logic to normal subjects and then said eating certain things will help this fat distribution.
-
The valid points made in Biosignature Modulation - "BS" - are copied.
Endocrinologists know that men have less fat around the arms and women more due to hormonal differences.
They also know men have more around the gut and women more around the legs and ass.
They also know insulin resistance may cause more visceral fat distribution.
That's about it.

Yeh, also the whole cortisol thing is taken from the idea of Cushing's disease. Massive excesses of cortisol etc cause fat distribution around the midsection and upper back. Loliquin goes on about how someone with abdominal fat distribution has high cortisol levels which can be modified by diet.
I've been trying to find some evidence for him believing that diet can affect these hormones so much that they have a visible outward affect. Haven't found any yet. He has also failed to reference anything to back his claims up

He's a quack who makes BIG bucks on people's religious beliefs towards him and his business of quackery.
He's a known fraud. I have made many a thread about him and his bullshit.

Yeh, he runs his own courses now. People pay a few hundred £/$ to do them. It's a fucking joke

He ridicules anyone who asks "dumb" questions even though his own theories are either:
- copies of old stuff already written
- valid ideas
- downright idiotic
He recommends 40g of glutamine intra workout. LOL. and 35-40g fish oil/day. Haha. He is a dumb quack.

But he took a massive Vit. C IV drip and got down to - 75% body fat, you can't argue with results:(.
Seriously, as was said, his training philosophies are valid, but much of his current other thoughts are nutty or of little use to regular folks.
One has to wonder if he really believes it or does it to just see whether he can get the rubes to follow him.
Shame too, he was a good guru once.
