They are great when training for sports in the middle of winter.  They have no place indoors in a gym, though.

Someone, maybe Alex, posted pics of a hat that looked pretty cool. The rest of the stuff looks pretty lame. Like Sherif wrote, most guys are either too fat to pull the shit off or are in good shape but look like a douche in a shirt three sizes too small.

No Flame....what's so "great" about them that wearing a snug T-shirt as your first layer won't suffice?

I hate wearing tight, tight stuff like that, it feels like it's cutting off the circulation to my arms.

Plus it screams "look at meeeeeee!!"

The material is designed to keep you warm and draw any sweat away from the body.  I'm out training or coaching for rugby 4 or 5 times a week in winter and find wearing that style of top keeps me much warmer (or at least saves me wearing an extra couple of layers anyway).

Ripped Twinks, such as Leafy and I, are the only suitable candidates to  don such attire in an accordant fashion.  All other types fall unharmonious in the symphony of gym fashion.

Under Armour - if that company offers stock and if we had bought that stock a short time ago, we'd all be very wealthy today. (I think!).

I haven't seen too many people use them as outer-ware in the gym but we do a lot skiing and spend a lot of time in cold climates (Lake Tahoe region) and we all have a couple of UA long sleeve shirts that keep the body warm under very extreme conditions (such as sleeping in rapidly built igloos).

They have proven to be their weight in gold.

Also great to use as an "undershirt" while doing aerobic workouts.

Anyone know if they are on one of the Stock Exchanges?

I have only used them to play football in places like Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia and some other Midwest states. I see people in the gyms that wear like mediums and they will ask me, "Do i look jacked or what" I tried one on and they seem like they are bench a shirt or something. The t-shirts are cool to train in but once i see the tight ones that makes the guy seem like a stick, laughter! A shirt is a shirt and it can say Nike, Under Armour, Adidas,..etc Just workout

Why did you just call yourself and leafy a twink?  ;D

When i used to play football i had a bunch of underarmour shirts. this was back when bnobody knew about them besides football players. they work awesome underneath the pads... comparing them to a plain white cotton t-shirt is night and day...and you gotta wear something under pads... if you just go bare chested and you get hit pretty hard your whole upper body will be all fucked up fro the abrasion.

Heat gear and especially cold gear is great but I always wear them under my clothes.
golf shirts fit great and they have some nice colors.
golf shorts are also good.
heat gear underwear are good in the summer.
zip up thermal is great and loose enough to golf in during spring and fall.
sneakers are just a "eh" nothing special.
socks are good also.
cleats are great.
hats are just hats.
batting gloves are good.
long sleeve loose fitting workout shirt fits great.

I love those shirts in the winter, to wear under the other clothes (that's why it's called "Under Armor", you're not supposed to wear it to the gym!)

AND they are the best shirts when you are sleeping and when you have fever, because they don't get wet but keep the body's warmth.

i love UA. The nike dry- fit are nice too. I only buy the loose fit one tho. And yes some are $$$. Just stick with the solid black, white or grey ones, some of the other colors look funny, there like 16-18 bucks at academy. I seen them for a low as 15 bucks. I love the boxerjocks too, won't do cardio without them.

Not cheap though, at 25 - 35 Dollars per shirt, and thats at the Outlet store!

they make loose fitting stuff?. everything i ever tried on made me look like Spiderman
Yeah the company makes loose fitting gear and their getting more and more high tech.  It's a real niche market, but I agree it should only be worn by a select few people.  It helps those that are loosing weight look more "svelte" (lol I love that word).  Other than that you're either too fat, or two big.  All in all it helps reduce fatigue (studies to prove it...do a google search), thereby inadvertently helping you to endure longer.  I love it (notice the picture...yeah I'm tryin to slim down).  I also got into sellin the stuff...it's a real niche market.  People nowadays can get it with antimicrobial and soon to be bug repellent stuff.  Definitely not for the night club scene...unless you're gay or just a Jack!
