When I say Ephedra I am talking products with the Ephedra alkoids. Is it illegal to simply have it in your possesion?, or is it only illegal to buy / sell / distribute within the USA. I wondering if a person was to cross the border and buy some real fat burners, and then bring them back into the USA. Would this be a big no no?

Why would you buy ephedra over the border and bring it back when you can buy it in the states?
Look up Bronkaid, Vasopro or even just a Google search on ephedra/ephedrine. You'll find many sites that will sell you the product, legally.

I thought there was a difference between ephedra, and ephedra Alkaloids

I can still find ephedra in products but the Alkaloids that was in the original Xenadrine RFA-1 ( not the stuff made today ), is no longer available.

It depends if it’s on the "banned" list of a particular show.
