I don't know if there is a single answer to that question. The conventional wisdom would say chest, but different bodyparts can really standout and be compelling on different guys: shoulders, arms, legs/glutes, lats...

That's not exactly a mystery... isn't that want this "sport" is all about? Note, there is a difference between looking alpha and being alpha; with a little discipline in the gym almost anyone can look the part.
