Besides showing an example with no weight on the bar. They need to show an example with 500 pounds on the bar. That commercial doesn't show any proof it can hold 500 lbs. :)

Cool product, it definetly makes sense, although a smith machine beats it, but I guess the cost (the gym mate can't be more then $40) makes up for it.. :)
