yeah i heard the environments get really boring and repetitive... i loved oblivion and these people made it, of rth emost part its gotten good reviews,not sold yet.

hell no. we get it in english here in the US. in europe i hear you guys get it dubbed in your language(rarely), english with subtitles, or japanese with subtitles. sucks for europe.

No, germans get dubbed versions a lot.
But most dubbed versions suck, english or japanese original for me.
It's like that, if the japanese pay 100% for voice actors, the US pays 70% and the german version has 40%. That's also the quality of the game after the dubbing.

Plus, and you can trust me on this, most companies don't pay enough money for the translations. Translations japanese to english or german are fucking expensive, and they either do it in-house or let some stupid students do it for little money.
Final Fantasy is one of the prime examples of a fucked up translation, the german versions totally suck.

Oh i fully understand must be an awesome game, but trust me when you have build up something by yourself and put a lot of sweat and blood into it and you see it working people register - post - fight with each other - complain - and ACTUALLY care about the community you have started - When you have people actually wanting to belong to the community

Fallout 3 is an excellent game but I enjoyed Oblivion a lot more.
So between the two I'd recommend Oblivion instead, the Game of the Year edition which includes both expansion packs. The Shivering Isles expansion pack alone is quite big, almost like a separate game of it's own.
The problem with Fallout 3 for me was mostly the drab depressing atmosphere, which I guess is the effect that apocalyptic wasteland tends to have on people.
The fantasy atmosphere of Oblivion was a lot more fun and exciting, as well as all the sub-quests and there are so many ways to play the game, for instance you could be a holy knight, thief, mage and even vampire just to name some.
So it has a lot more replay value and I'll even probably play it again sometime.
The nect game on my list will probably be Resident Evil 5...

Probably the best game I played on the PS3, fucks GTA in the ass.
I've Fallout 3, stuck somewhere in the middle, but haven't played in months, no time right now unfortunately. But it's a lil boring I've to say, I'm getting too old for RPGs, just don't have the time and nerves for this level upgrades, skill uprades, weapon upgrades bullshit anymore.
Also got Restistance 2 several months ago and haven't even unwraped it yet. :'(

mgs 4 is one of the few japanese games i enjoy,the biggest names are not from japan:resistance,killzone,halo,god of war,gears of war,GTA etc etc

They are arguing for years if they wanna release another sequel as it was meant to be a trilogy initially. The 2nd game quasi ended right in the middle of the story. >:(
Hope one day I can bring Ryos quest to an end. :'(

Played the last two Shenmue games on my Dreamcast.....and I'm still waiting for Shenmue III >:(

Wanna get Fallout. Im playing Dead Space now and its some creepy sh*t along with the rpg Star Ocean for 360. Just finished RE5 with a buddy of mine and it was pretty awesome. Not much different from RE4 besides 2 players but awesome. Waiting on Square-Enix to stop fu*cking around and release FF13 altho they got lame after 9 and 10.

Yep, that was one fucking great peace of RPG, if not one of the best RPGs ever. Played first and 2nd one on the XBox, absolutely loved it.
I'm not a Star Wars fan, and almost every Star Wars videogame sucked big time, but this one was just f*ing awesome, also for non Star-Wars fans.
Tough the first one was tremendously better than the 2nd one if I can recall it right (the opposite to Shenmue, where the 2nd one was lightyears ahead of the first one).

Yep I loved the 1st game. When LucasArts gets it together for a next gen release I will be happy. Did you like Jade Empire? Thought it was pretty good, some of the best Xbox 1 graphics since Ninja Gaiden.

Absof*ckinlutely. I've played it through 4-5 times and I never get tired of it. People sh*t on the graphics but at the time they were top notch and no game except Xenogears can touch the story. Xenogears (if you can find one on PS1)/Xenosagas 1-3 are also must plays. Chrono Cross/Trigger,Valkyrie Profile, Star Ocean, Lunar, ........I've played so many RPGs.

Shenmue Online [Bearbeiten]
Am 3. August des Jahres 2004 wurde Shenmue Online angekündigt. Tausende von Spielern sollten demnach online gemeinsam Abenteuer im virtuellen Asien (neben Japan und China erstmals auch Korea) erleben. Der Protagonist Ryo Hazuki, zusammen mit alten Bekannten wie Joy, Ren, Lan Di, etc., ließ sich fortan nicht mehr steuern und sollte die Funktion eines Spielleiters übernehmen. Die Spieler hingegen sollten in die Rollen nie da gewesener Charaktere schlüpfen, unterteilt in drei Kriegerklassen mit unterschiedlichen Fähigkeiten - teils mystisch, teils bestehend aus traditionellen Kampfkünsten auf Basis des waffenlosen Kampfes, aber auch mit Einsatz von Waffen. 6000 Cut-Scenes, 1300 menschliche Modelle und unterschiedliche Kampfstile sollten in das Spiel integriert werden. Ende 2004/Anfang 2005 konnten koreanische PC-Spieler private Betatests durchführen und bei der Kamex 2004, der koreanischen Spielexpo, wurde sogar eine spielbare Version von Shenmue Online präsentiert.
Am 4. August 2005 teilte Sega Japan der japanischen Internetseite 4Gamer.net mit, dass JC Entertainment die Entwicklung von Shenmue Online eingestellt hat. Da Sega bereits im März 2005 die Entwicklung nicht mehr überprüft und man hierzu ein Statement verfasst hätte, welches besagen würde, dass man das Projekt einem nicht genannten Entwickler in Taiwan übertragen hätte, wäre die Arbeit bei JC Entertainment zwei Monate später vollständig eingestellt worden. Ein ehemaliger Mitwirkender an Shenmue Online bestätigte zudem, dass man bereits im Mai oder Juni 2005 das Projekt abbrach. Obwohl Sega offiziell nicht bestätigte, dass die Entwicklung einer anderen Firma übertragen worden ist, wurde zumindest bekannt, das bei JC Entertainment die Entwicklung eingestellt wurde.
Anfang November 2005 widersprach Yu Suzuki jedoch allen Meldungen über eine Einstellung des Projektes und gab an, dass die Entwicklung gute Fortschritte mache. Mit einer Veröffentlichung sei für das Frühjahr 2006 zu rechnen.
Auf der China Joy 2006 trat nun der Erschaffer Yu Suzuki an die Öffentlichkeit und meldete sich zu wort. In dem 12 Minuten langen Video, das vor dem Publikum gezeigt wurde, werden die neuesten Entwicklungen und einige Umgebungen des Online-Rollenspiels gezeigt. Minispiele werden weiter vorhanden sein und das Spielprinzip wird deutlicher erläutert. Eine Bestätigung ist bis jetzt allerdings nur für den asiatischen Markt erfolgt.
Im September 2008 wurde von Yu Suzuki bekannt gegeben, dass die Entwicklung des Spieles derzeit auf Eis liegt. Jedoch wurde dabei betont, dass dies nicht mit einer Einstellung des Projektes gleich zu setzen sei, da gegebenenfalls später weiter daran gearbeitet wird.
