Title: Only 5 months away. Who's going to be top 3 at the Olympia?
Post by: El Diablo Blanco on April 17, 2009, 02:43:33 PM
Upset special.....

1. KAI WINS it all.
2. Heath
3. Dexter
.
.
.
.
4.Jay
5.Martinez
6. Melvin Anthony.

They are going to use this O to setup a rivalry between Kai and Heath for the next few years.  Mark my words.

Dexter or Jay this year, most likely Jay,whether Kai or Phil deserve it or not the fact is that Muscletech are now the main Olympia sponsor and a Muscletech athlete will reign supreme

Wolf blows everybody out of the water.

LOL.  You wish.

King Kai
Heath
Vic

Wolf
Jay
Tony
Branch

If you can make top six this year, you did a damn good job. This is the best lineup I've ever seen for potential top 10.

Would be cool if Kai won. He = a good guy. He = actually also pretty well spoken (but he needs a lot of training to sound really eloquent), but he can not present himself properly at this time. He needs to learn some speaking skills, etiquette and how to dress himself properly. He has the raw materials, but lacks the polish. He comes off as a doofus at times, not as the representable champion he could be if he got help from the right people.

Would be way worse for him if he did not have the raw materials.

Jay,Phil, and Victor or Kai (in no order). Dexter rounds out Top 5. I see no improvement in Wolf by his guest posing pics but he will make Top 6 and leave MD for Weider for obvious reasons. Toney and Branch can get a Top 6 if they are on.

I think he struggles to speak because he honestly doesn't know what to say.

I don't think he's stupid and is probably smarter than most bodybuilders, plus he's got a good physique and has earned every bit of attention he's been getting.

anyone who doesn't think heath is going to be the next mr.olympia just isn't paying attention.  this has already been decided.
dexter might be able to hold onto the title for one more year, maybe

wolf will be the most impressive competitor this year, he won't make the same mistakes as last year, but as long as he doesn't have an AMI or Muscletech contract he stands zero chance of winning

I guarantee Jay will win it
Hope Kai or Phil wins though

He looks nervous at times in interviews. (and sometimes, he = cramping and shit).

He strikes Debussey as pretty clever, but he just don't know how to present himself and talk in front of people. He needs to get over his fears and learn etiquette, social skills and self-promotion.

Enough with Victor M. !!!!!! I just don't get the hype. Year in year out you all say the same thing. He has no legs. His conditioning is always lacking. Enough already ! He will never ever win. Top 5 yes. But that's because of the current day crop. The 90's are gone.

You are correct. I don't think the the sup matters much as the publication contract tho. Dennis need to move to the US and hook up with Charles Glass for training  for a full offseason or visit England which is closer to get some Dorian training. I think with Dorian's training he will be an unstoppable freak in one offseason.

I believe Kai is a very intelligent guy that has no education and was traumatized as a kid, like chained-to-a-radiator traumatized.

just seems very self conscious

Badabing! He has probably grown up in places where he never learned the skills needed to succeed. Now he = like a big teddybear instead of a marketable barbie doll.

And there is something extremely "non-mature" about him. He does not glow of authority, he seems like a little kid.

And yes, the trauma thing might have something too it.

perpetual adolescence usually stems from a major trauma as a kid. your brain never gets past it

What do you think happened too him? What do you know about this condition?

With proper threatment, he can probably gain maturity.

Good points. Debussey was thinking too narrowly, like the 2 - 10 year stage.

It = a shame really, Kai Greene could be doing so much better and probably being much happier if he'd gotten some help.

we are= assuming a lot here   but it would explain his confused sexual identity and moral vacuousness as well

That = true.

Debussey's impressions comes from all the tiny clues he gives off. Like the way he carried his BB prize in the airport in that MDTV video (see link below), the way he appeared in the resturant in that interview when he bought a ton of food, his mannerisms when faced with criticism (like when Dave Palumbo commented on the piss-smell in the elevator in his former appartment, an earlier video) and so on.
His whole persona has many traits normally only found in kids and young people.

He seems completely unaware of many of the norms in society, the little things most of us know. He carried his trophy like a 5 year old dork in the airport, just like the kid in kindergarden who's both stupid yet always happy and always getting beat up.

Did you see him when that woman in the airport asked for an autograph for her son? He looked emberassed, uncomfortable and like he felt completely out of control.

You can find it all in this video: http://mdtv.musculardevelopment.com/content/view/1960/164/   -> Pay attention from 00:48 in this video. (especially at 01:18). He looks like he is about to die. Is this how a mature and confident person would act? :o ;D

He strikes Debussey as the kind of insecure person that you could walk right over if you wanted (not physically).

Speaking about who will take it, it will not be out of Muscletech filed (Jay or Dex)  :-X

But..

Speaking about who will be the most deserved, it will not be other than PHIL HEATH  8)
