Title: Thales Leites' Passivity in Numbers

FightMetric released their report for Silva/Leites.  Here's the number of strikes thrown by round for each fighter:

Round Silva Leites
1           17 8
2           19 16
3           44 13
4           36 13
5           32 13

And here's their Effectiveness Scores by round:

Round Silva Leites
1           10 1
2           30 10
3           61 11
4           55 7
5           66 1

Leites also attempted 16 "takedowns," though at least 10 of those would be of the "flop to the ground and try to pull guard" variety.

that says it all right there.  It's hard to beat the shit out of someone whose running the whole fight.  They should put Leites in the cage with Kalib to see who runs the most...

I have seen a lot of fights.  Not once have i seen the apathy shown by Leites during this fight.  For god's sake, even if you think you can't win at the stand up, at some point at least swing for the fences.  Stop laying down. Put all your heart into it and at least go down with honor.  I would rather get chuck lidelled (knocked the fuck out) to fight the way he did.  pathetic.

Agree totally, it's a championship fight ffs, at least put some godamn effort in, I understard if this was an undercard fight, but it wasn't!!.
