Title: is Syntha-6 that good?
Post by: SaltShaker on April 23, 2009, 10:24:11 AM
for the past 10-12 monthss i have cut my protein shake/powder by almost 90%, only on rare occasions i drink it, and its working for me, because im sticking to solid foods instead of powder. Now that i only drink proteein shakes once in a while, im looking for the HIGHEST quality protein powder. it seems all fingers point to Syntha-6, what do you guys think?

Yes Syntha-6 is that good.  I mix 1cup of oatmeal with 12 oz of cold water blend at high speed then add 2 scoops of Syntha-6.  IMO, better than the protein quality is the great taste.

highest quality?

i think pro complex is probably the highest quality protein out there. if $ wasnt an issue, i would use it exclusively.

best tasting powder with no bloating. i wont use their products for certain reasons. also, the syntha tastes great but i dont want the 13 g of carbs per scoop it has.

5 grams of that is fiber.  Syntha also has 6 grams of fat mostly coming from EFAs and MCTs.  I guess it depends on your diet.  When I'm trying to reduce carbs and fat I use ISO-100, when I'm maintaining or bulking I use Syntha-6, except after my workout.  After workouts I always use ISO-100.  ISO-100 does not taste as good but it will mix with a spoon.  I don't agree with Tbombz, I think Syntha is higher quality than ProComplex.  Money does not factor to my protein choices, taste and quality do.
