It didn`t stop that 20 plus percent in some states voting against him solely they see him as a black man.
Take that 20 percent bias out of the equation and he would have have carried several states that he did not.
Clearly race or the perception of race still infects our politics.

I disagree with you there to. Obama out campaigned her. She was so polarizing it provided the opportunity for Obama.
This had little to do with him being Black. It more of the ideal circumstances. Him being Balck was a factor, but not near the determining factor some would say.

The media loved him because he was out campaigning everyone. He's not the first black man to run for president. He had a compelling message in a time of apathy for government.
