Title: Need help understanding

Any 100 RAW lifters  out there that can help me understand this?

1st-  it's a ....  "Sanction III event"  what does that mean??
2ed-  awards are "15 best lifter awards"
3rd it talks a lot about World, National & State Records.

This sounds like a big time meet, not for somebody like me just coming back after 20 years!! my lifts are down about a 100lbs! LOL

"Yes, it's a big meet. One of the most important this year. Sanction III means you can set State, National, and World records either in "Open" category and in just your age/weight group. For current single lift records, go to the home page and find "records" along the top listings. And, of course you should go. It's a meet for everyone and a great opportunity to meet association lifters, try out your skills, and enjoy a day of heavy lifting. Be sure to read the "rules" section (home page) as their have been some changes - you need high socks for the dead lift, and there's a great description of a qualifying bench press (butt on the bench, feet flat on floor, bar to bottom of sternum, etc.) Have fun and welcome back to a terrific sport and association! "

For real!  I'm thinking about by passing this one.. for now anyway  ;) lol
