Who needs to be saved during a fire?  It is much better to die in a burning blaze and know that your firefighting team is diverse than to be saved!  The wonders of diversity.  :)

Like in the U.K, if you are a white male between 18 - 55 you are fucked.The lowest of the low.

The posititve discrimination law exsists in the U.K also. This is where employers can legally employ ethnics or women over a white male.

There was a case with the Met police a couple of years ago that involved white male candidates taking court action because all their applications to join where thrown out while ethnic and womens applications were passed.

How long do we have to carry these people?

The best person for the job should get the job..

Exactly.  If an employer is proven to be discrimintaing then get them in big trouble, but don't avoid hiring the best in the name of equal opportunity.

The city I live in is about 30% hispanic, 30% african american and 30% white so what's the problem there is NO minority unless you're asian or indian or other  ???

Minority in math would refer to data which represents less than 50% of the total.  In the world of cultural Marxists, it apparently represents "non-white".  ::)

Of course, even with white males being the minority, this did not prevent them from being the victims of blatant racist and sexist discrimination in the firefighting department:

I voted for Pres Obama and have to wonder when I read these affirmative actions cases bases on % of race on the job. I mean c'mon if the election was based on race % demographics , who vote, Obama would get 14-15% of the vote. Based on the racial , gender % of those who voted our US President would be a middle aged white female, who is a christain :o
