a movie that was based on another movie?
The Departed is a remake of "Infernal Affairs"
Heard about it, haven't seen it. Which do you prefer?
The departed is more enjoyable because of the actors and English language. This fact makes it easier to follow as the plot is somewhat complex.
Def worth checkin out Infernal Affairs and it's 2 sequels, see if you can download it or rent, I wouldn't buy it. Alot of the scenes in both movies are almost identical

Just saw Ong Bak 2 last week- any other Tony Jaa fans out there?

Hmm. Depends where you are coming from. If you are my age, you'd apreciate flicks from the 70's and early 80's moreso than the pap put out in more recent years

I remember when this came out. Back then I was in high school and music videos were really popular. I used to always see the one from this movie " I Can Dream About You. " Never saw the movie though.
Just watched the trailer online and want to see it now. Diane Lane was only 18 in this, and she looked good in the trailer.
But she looks so much better as she got older, like in her mid to late 30's. A perfect MILF !

The only recollection I have of Streets of Fire is that everyone is running around in black vinyl farmer john style overalls.

This one gets better and better, too. Tommy Lee Jones, especially. The Coen movies are always like this for me, so much stuff you don't pick up right away.
Any Coen fans?

Can't really point to only one movie as the best ever, ...but 'Gladiator' is right up there as one of the best.

Better when it was called Braveheart.
