I am taking 50mg every day but I train also. Is this too much?

i take 30mg in the morning and zma at night. Just try not to go over 100mg a day.

I take 10mgs of zinc in the morning with eggwhites only. The protein helps breakdown the zinc and doesn't compete with it to absorb. The brand I take is NATURES PLUS. the vitaminshoppe carries it. Plus i get 15mgs of zinc in my multi(NOW daily vits). I'm 50 years old and still getting morning wood!!!!!!!

I would keep taking it in the morning w your multi-mineral supp, and take it also at night, on an empty stomach.... or if you can't, at least without any calcium.
Calcium seems to block absorption of zinc.

You can take upwards of 200mg of Zinc a day as long as you have a high copper intake to offset the copper deficiency that much Zinc will cause. At that dose Zinc does a tremendous job of shutting down cortisol.

Everything i've read says over 100mg isn't a great idea. ???
