What do you reckon?
I'm gonna nominate:
Predator (Jesse Ventura)
Road House (Terry Funk)
The Condemned (Stone Cold)
-
Oh, there are so many…
Hell Comes to Frogtown – Roddy Piper
Mr. Nanny – Terry “Hulk” Hogan
Suburban Commando – Hogan & introducing The Undertaker
Bodyslam – Piper
Abraxas, Guardian of the Universe – Jesse Ventura & Ty Ventura (cameo)
Firepower – Jim “Ultimate Warrior” Hellwig
The list goes on…
Far too many phenomenal flicks to remember at once.
-
Terry Funk in Paradise Alley with Sylvester Stallone was pretty good.

Hogan fought Zeus in No Hold Barred and at that year’s Summer Slam PPV.
They never faced each other at Mania.
Really…
You're a nice guy, Geo, but your wrestling "geekness" is weak and pitiful.
Now please confine your shame to the alphabet boards.
;D

I'm waiting for this to come out on DVD. Partly cos everyone says it's good, and partly to see Marisa Tomei naked. ;)

The Rundown?
I still like The Princess Bride.

I think Ron Howard said that Andre's hotel tab while filming came to something like $43,000.00
And it was all spent at the bar!
-
'Rumble in the Jungle', with The Rock was quite good.
Is 'Walking Tall' worth a watch?

My GF’s mum loves Walking Tall – mainly because she loves The Rock.
I’m gonna have to get her a copy of The Scorpion King!

I didn't enjoy Scorpion King much. I like a daft cheesy action movie as much as the next guy, but that one was cheese overload.

I think the biggest reason it did well was that Rock was so hot (popular) at the time.

And to think I actually bitched about them giving David Arquette the strap… ::)

Mania has been about publicity since the very first one. Lauper, Ali, Liberachi, and Mr. T.
Yeah i hear ya but every year it just gets worse, This year they actually had JARED announce a match. I cant stand it i mean how much does vince think he has to do to keep the wwe name out there??

I’m sure that drinking a supertanker of wine every two hours didn’t help, but Andre had some other health issues that caught up with him in the end.

Did you also know that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Devito were given first choice between Suburban Commando and Twins?
Hogan & Christopher Lloyd would get whichever was left.
New Line Cinema then immediately acquired the rights to SC in hopes of doing a little better than No Holds Barred faired.
Arnold, DeVito, and Hogan have all mentioned this in interviews over the years.

I'm not sure if I could see Arnie in Suburban Commando. Twins was definitely the better choice.

Ya know…
After thinking about it for a few…
It just dawned on me that if you take away the frilly skirt thing, that’s basically Bret Hart’s ring gear.
