Post by: Swedish Viking on May 13, 2009, 01:24:27 PM
About a 2.25lbs(1kg) a day.  Basically all raw beef.  I didn't realize I ate this much though, just seems normal to me these days.  How much are you grubbin on?

I want to hear more.  What made you make the switch?

My body was extremely sluggish. My sister's boyfriend recommended I visit his herbalist / iridologist friend.
He suggested a very strict diet for me that I was to follow for 3 weeks. It was 3 weeks of hell, ...but man of man what a difference it made in how my body felt & functioned. I couldn't wait for the 3 weeks to end, so that I could sink my teeth into a nice thick juicy burger, ...or enjoy cereal with milk again etc., etc.,  As soon as I did, my body started to feel like crap again. I had to decide which I prefered; having my body look, feel, and work, like a finely tuned machine or satisfying the gluttony of my taste buds. After a while, when you cut out all the crap that's bad for you, you really don't miss it. It's hard to go back to eating the way I used to, because my body is so sensitive to it. When you eat like that for years, ...everything you feel is just normal. It's kind of like learning to walk, and growing up with a stone pebble in your shoe. It's just normal to feel that pain, and you really don't know anything is amiss. Then one day someone removes the pebble for the first time, ...and there's just no going back.
