I like what he has to say but i don't think the republican party can be changed & don't think he or ron paul should be in the republican party.  it's too entrenched and corrupted... A third party is the only answer, we need a clean slate.  I think after obamas term americans will be ready, just need to do some serious fund raising and get some big names to show support/join the party, it can be done.

I wonder if small government anti-socialist message can be made appealing to liberals, maybe people with opposing views can be in the same party? i would take dennis kucinich as president even though he is socialist and liberal over 99% of republicans just because he is genuine and nationalistic.

I agree with you. But RP has pointed out the problem many times. Third party options aren't really options because we have a 2 (1) party system and you can't get on the ballot in any meaningful way as a third party person. It's a shame but then again in this respect the system in the US sucks donkey balls.
