True Colors
President Obama has shown his true colors by announcing the resuming of the Bush-era Tribunals for the prisoners at Guantanamo in Cuba.
He claims that the trials will allow for more prisoner rights and access to legal counsel. However, the idea of these Tribunals is feudal and has been shown to be a farce.
As I have said for a long time about the new administration-- same crap, different toilet.

"The guantanamo detainees have constitutional rights and deserve to be given trials in the American criminal justice system. I strongly support Obama's anti torture position and the closing of Guantanamo. It's one of the key reasons he should become president"- Circa 2007, 2008- 60% of the politics and political issues board.
"Nobody complained when Bush did it so why should it matter now."- Circa 2009, 60% of the politics and political issues board.
