And no its not from what we are all thinking.
Anyone ever have problems when doing flatbar culrs? All the sudden everytime I do these my wrist into my forearms hurt like a bitch. Not tryn to be cocky, but is it possible to get stronger than your joints or at least faster than your joints can keep up?

Part of the game of lifting. I have a nice ganglion cyst on my wrist from years of lifting. Got it drained with a pin 6 months ago but it recently came back.

Get some wrist wraps or do like Bob Chick and use straps on everything.

I have had this too, maybe try doing them with the EZ curl bar or DBs. Its a hard angle and many people get it I dont think it has anything to do with to strong to fast.
Does Chick use straps on stuff like incline BB bench or any BB move other than rows, DL's, SLDL's or shrugs? Cause that would be semi gay.

some people just aren't build to use straight bars when duing curls, i've just learned to accept that i can only use ez curl bars... it feels like my bones are going to break if i use straight bars when curling
note it isn't a problem that you can correct, you just have to learn to live with it, or you will end up seriously injuring yourself

yea I pretty much had to quit using the straight bar, no problems with the ez curls or DB's. Im just trying to get some width added to my Bi's and have read that the straight bar is the best for it. Its too bad you get a hell of a pump from the barbell

Yeah the straight bar will have your wrist more supinated, this should work the biceps more, but since it causes the wrist problems better off not getting injured.

i dont do any straight BB moves not even curls bench press or shoulder press your body doesnt move in a straight projectory

try wearing the wrist supports for carpal tunnel syndrome......I started using them cause on my last cycle every once in a while I would get carpal tunnel symtoms while I slept. well after a couple days sleeping witht the supports....it went away.
But I also found they help with different exercises that put stress on your wrists. they keep your wrist in a straight line and prevent it from bending in an unnatrual way.
You can get a pair at walgreens or cvs....theirs all different brands and styles....so try them out before you buy them!

Yes, which is where a lot of injuries from AAS come into play.
I would personally avoid straight bar curls like the plague, they put the wrist at an odd angle (for me at least).
