Title: NY Pro - I think Ruhl deserves some props
Post by: Royalty on May 18, 2009, 12:02:43 PM: I honestly thought that after his decline in 2005 through 2007 that he was pretty much done. I also thought that after a 2 year layoff/retirement that he was going to look less that great onstage in NYC.

The dude come in pretty ripped. His legs were cut. He was impressive. And I will say that if he didnt tear his pec a few years back....Ruhl would have EASILY won the 2009 NY Pro.

yeah, back then his pecs were a strong point....but now they a weak point (due to injury)

Post by: Relentless on May 18, 2009, 12:20:05 PM: The long-term use and training wears the body down; it's very apparent right now when you look at Jay's last couple of Olympia appearances. Markus had a "fresh" look back then that he'll never be able to achieve again. It's hard to beat up one's body over and over again and not lose something.
